Our sweet Pixie gave us quite the scare, but we finally have some good news to share! 🥹❤️

Her stomach was empty this morning, and the vet felt confident that our girl was going to be just fine! 🐾❤️

After the stressful week we’ve had, hearing those words meant more than we can explain. Sometimes you don’t realize how badly you need a little good news until you finally get some. 🥹

A special thank you to Pixie’s wonderful foster family for taking such good care of her and making sure she gets all the love and attention she needs. ❤️ Our fosters truly are the heart of what we do, and we couldn’t do this without them.

Thank you to everyone who has been thinking of Pixie and keeping her in your prayers. We are so grateful our sweet girl is okay, but we still need help with the vet bill! 💵

Now, Pixie, let’s stick to dog food and leave the lawn chairs alone! 😂💕

Well, Pixie decided we didn’t have enough going on already, so she thought eating part of a lawn chair would be a good idea. 🤦‍♀️🐾

Pixie is currently at Northside Vet after she started throwing up and acting like she was in pain. We’re hoping she didn’t do any serious damage and that everything will be okay.

We are super thankful our foster home was quick on their toes and was able to bring her the vet! 🩵

With our car show coming up, we’re already stretched thin trying to get everything ready, and we still have Tyson’s vet bill hanging over our heads. Now we’re facing another unexpected vet visit. 😩

We love these babies, but goodness, they sure know how to keep us on our toes! 🥹

Please say a little prayer for Pixie. And if anyone can spare a few dollars toward our mounting vet expenses, we would be incredibly grateful. Every little bit helps more than you know. ❤️🐾

Our sweet little Tyson had to make another trip to the vet today. 😢🐾 Unfortunately, he still isn’t feeling better, and his eyes haven’t cleared up. The vet believes he may have had ulcers caused by a feline herpes outbreak. 💔 We’re trying new eye medication, but there’s still a chance his eyes may never fully recover.

He’s also been having some bowel issues. Thankfully, his f***l test was negative, and we’re working to get him feeling better. We go back in one week for another checkup. ❤️‍🩹

💰 Today’s vet bill was $215.52, and we desperately need some help! Between caring for our rescue babies and preparing for our upcoming Cars n’ K9s fundraiser, our funds are stretched incredibly thin. 😔

Tyson is just a baby who deserves a chance to grow up healthy, happy, and loved. 🥹❤️ We’re doing everything we can for him, but we can’t do it alone.

We are so happy to share that Steve, Tek, and Cooper have all been adopted! 🐱❤️ Three sweet kitties are off to start their new lives with their forever families, and we couldn’t be more excited for them!

Thank you to their wonderful adopters for giving these babies loving homes. We wish all three of them a lifetime of love, cuddles, and happiness! 🥰🐾

We want to give a HUGE thank you to Husky Halfway House for taking our sweet Kiwi into their care! ❤️🐾 We couldn’t be more grateful that they opened their hearts and made room for this girl.

Kiwi is already making friends with the other huskies, and we absolutely love seeing her surrounded by dogs just like her! 🐺💕 She’s a girl with a big personality and plenty of energy, so we’re excited for her to have this opportunity.

As much as we love our rescue babies, sometimes the best thing we can do for them is help them find a place where they can truly thrive. 🥹❤️

Thank you again to everyone at Husky Halfway House for giving Kiwi this chance. We can’t wait to follow her adventures and see what the future holds for our girl! 💕🐾

Some adoptions just hit a little harder than others, and these three definitely have our hearts feeling all kinds of emotions. 🥹❤️ Kirby, Petal, and Delilah have all been waiting quite a while for someone to choose them, and now all three finally have families to call their own! 🐶🐱🐱💕

One of the hardest parts of rescue is watching animals wait. They don’t understand why they’re still here, why others get to leave, or why their special someone hasn’t come along yet. We do our best to give them all the love we can while they’re with us, but nothing compares to having a home and family of their very own. ❤️

Kirby, Petal, and Delilah have been part of our rescue family for so long that saying goodbye is definitely bittersweet. We’ve loved them, cared for them, and hoped that one day someone would see just how special they are. And now that day has finally come. 🥹

To their new families, thank you for choosing the ones who had been waiting. Thank you for giving them the chance they’ve deserved all along. You may never fully understand just how much these adoptions mean to us. 💕

Sweet babies, we hope your days are filled with warm beds, full bellies, endless love, and all the little things that make a house a home. No more waiting for your turn. This time, you’re the ones going home. 🏡❤️🐾

Our 4th Annual Cars n’ K9s shirts are here, and we absolutely love how they turned out! 😍🐾 These will be softstyle shirts, and every purchase will help us continue doing what we love most… saving animals who need someone to give them a chance. ❤️🐶

Behind every animal we take in is a story. Some have been abandoned, some have been neglected, and others have simply never known what it feels like to be loved. Every single one deserves a chance at a better life, and we couldn’t do what we do without people like YOU! 🥹❤️

Jane had her first heartworm treatment today, and we’re happy to say she’s in pretty good spirits! ❤️🐾 Our sweet girl did great, but now comes the not-so-fun part… lots of bed rest! 🥹

She’ll have to take it easy for quite a while, but it’ll all be worth it to get her healthy again. ❤️‍🩹 We’re hoping for a smooth recovery with no complications!

Keep our sweet Jane in your thoughts! She’s been through so much already, and we’re ready for brighter days ahead for her. 🥰💕

Our sweet little Tyson tested NEGATIVE for FIV, FeLV, and heartworms!! 🥹❤️🐾 We are so thankful for that good news! We are still waiting to hear back from the vet about his eyes. They continue to have that glazed, glassy look, and we’re hoping and praying that his eyes will be okay and we won’t have anything else to worry about! 🙏💕 This precious little boy has already had a rough start, and all we want is for him to grow up happy, healthy, and loved! 🐱❤️

We also want to give a HUGE thank you to the amazing donor who covered Tyson’s entire $125.88 vet bill!! 🥹❤️ You have no idea how much that kindness means to us!

We won’t lie, things have been a little disheartening lately. 😩 Between heartworm treatments, surgeries, sick babies, and vet bill after vet bill, it’s been hard to keep our heads above water. Some days we wonder how we’re going to make it all work. 💔

But then something like this happens. Someone opens their heart to an animal they’ve never even met and reminds us why we keep going. 🥹❤️

Every animal that comes into our care deserves a chance, and thanks to people like you, we’re able to keep giving them one. 🐾💕

We still have a mountain of expenses ahead of us, but today we’re choosing to celebrate Tyson’s good news and the kindness of someone who helped make his care possible! 🥰
