แนวคิดของโครงการพัฒนานายสัตวแพทย์นักระบาดวิทยาภาคสนามเริ่มขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2548 ภายใต้ความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานทางด้านสาธารณสุขและหน่วยงานทางด้านปศุสัตว์ในประเทศไทย เนื่องมาจาก การระบาดของโรคไข้หวัดนกชนิดรุนแรงในภูมิภาคเอเชีย ในปี พ.ศ. 2552 โครงการพัฒนาฯ ได้พัฒนาขึ้นสำหรับนายสัตวแพทย์จากประเทศไทยและนายสัตวแพทย์จากประเทศอื่นๆ ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ผ่านความร่วมมือของหน่วยงานทางด้านสุขภาพส

A heartfelt thank you to all our instructors for contributing to the R-FETPV 1st Module: Basic Epidemiology and Surveillance Data Analysis Training, held from 4 June to 23 July 2026.

This training reflects the strong technical expertise within Thailand’s Department of Livestock Development. Our DLD instructors shared their knowledge, practical experience, and real-world perspectives in veterinary epidemiology with participants from Thailand and other Asian countries.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the instructors of the Field Epidemiology Training Program, Ministry of Public Health, who played a major role in this module. More than half of the training period was conducted jointly with the public health FETP, providing valuable opportunities for veterinary and public health professionals to learn together, exchange perspectives, and strengthen One Health collaboration.

Our thanks also go to FAO, universities, partner organizations, and all guest instructors whose contributions helped strengthen the knowledge and skills of the next generation of veterinary epidemiologists.

Thank you for making this training possible and for supporting sustainable veterinary epidemiology workforce development in Thailand and across the region.

R-FETPV เดินหน้าพัฒนานักระบาดวิทยารุ่นใหม่ ใช้ข้อมูลจริง–AI ช่วยคิด ช่วยเขียน และนำเสนอผลงาน

สำนักควบคุม ป้องกันและบำบัดโรคสัตว์ โดยโครงการพัฒนานายสัตวแพทย์นักระบาดวิทยาภาคสนาม (R-FETPV) จัดการประชุม Proposal Development for Surveillance Data Analysis and Scientific Presentation ภายใต้แนวคิด Integrating Ethical AI as a Research and Writing Assistant in Veterinary Epidemiology ระหว่างวันที่ 6–9 กรกฎาคม 2569 ณ โรงแรมคอร์ทยาร์ด บาย แมริออท พัทยาเหนือ จังหวัดชลบุรี

การประชุมครั้งนี้มีผู้เข้ารับการอบรม 12 คน ประกอบด้วยนายสัตวแพทย์จากกรมปศุสัตว์ 4 คน หน่วยงานด้านสัตว์ป่าและสัตว์ทะเล 2 คน และสัตวแพทย์จาก 5 ประเทศในภูมิภาค ได้แก่ อินโดนีเซีย เนปาล มาเลเซีย ศรีลังกา และเวียดนาม พร้อมด้วย Program Mentors และผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิกว่า 20 คน จากกรมปศุสัตว์ สถาบันการศึกษา นักวิชาการอิสระ และหน่วยงานท้องถิ่น

จุดเด่นของการอบรมคือ “เรียนจากงานจริง และพัฒนางานทันที” ผู้เข้าอบรมนำข้อมูลการเฝ้าระวังโรคที่ตนเองรับผิดชอบมาพัฒนาเป็นข้อเสนอโครงการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล โดยมี mentor ทำงานร่วมกันตั้งแต่การตั้งคำถามวิจัย การวางแผนวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ไปจนถึงการเตรียมนำเสนอผลงานทางวิชาการ

นอกจากนี้ ผู้เข้าอบรมยังได้เรียนรู้การใช้ Generative AI อย่างมีจริยธรรม เพื่อช่วยระดมความคิด สังเคราะห์วรรณกรรม พัฒนาการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษ และออกแบบการนำเสนอ โดยยังคงยึดหลักความถูกต้องทางวิชาการ การตรวจสอบข้อมูล และการคุ้มครองข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลอย่างเคร่งครัด

การอบรมได้รับเกียรติจาก ศ.สพ.ญ.ดร.สันนิภา สุรทัตต์ คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย อ.ดร.สุกานดา จงเสริมตระกูล คณะครุศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และ รศ.ดร.พงศ์ประพันธ์ พงษ์โสภณ คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ร่วมถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์และแนวคิดในการใช้ AI เพื่อสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ การวิจัย และการสื่อสารทางวิชาการอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

การประชุมครั้งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการพัฒนา R-FETPV Cohort 16 เพื่อให้นักระบาดวิทยาภาคสนามสามารถเปลี่ยนข้อมูลเฝ้าระวังที่มีอยู่ให้เป็นหลักฐานเชิงวิชาการ และนำไปใช้สนับสนุนการตัดสินใจด้านการควบคุมโรคสัตว์ได้จริง

"Turning Real Surveillance Data into Action—with AI and Mentorship"

From 6–9 July 2026, the Bureau of Disease Control and Veterinary Services, through R-FETPV, organized the workshop Proposal Development for Surveillance Data Analysis and Scientific Presentation in Pattaya, Thailand.

Twelve veterinarians from Thailand and five countries in the region worked alongside more than 20 program mentors and experts to turn real surveillance data and real workplace problems into feasible research proposals and scientific presentations.

A key highlight was the practical and ethical use of Generative AI as a research and writing assistant—from brainstorming and literature synthesis to improving English writing and presentation design—while maintaining academic integrity and data privacy.

The R-FETPV approach is simple: work on real problems, learn with mentors, and apply new skills immediately.

กรมปศุสัตว์ร่วมพัฒนานักระบาดวิทยาภาคสนาม เชื่อมสุขภาพคน–สัตว์ ผ่าน June Course 2569

วันที่ 3 กรกฎาคม 2569 ผู้อำนวยการกองระบาดวิทยา กรมควบคุมโรค เป็นประธานในพิธีปิดและมอบประกาศนียบัตรแก่ผู้สำเร็จการอบรมหลักสูตร Introductory Course in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (June Course) 2569 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 8 มิถุนายน–3 กรกฎาคม 2569 จากความร่วมมือระหว่างกรมปศุสัตว์และกรมควบคุมโรค ณ กระทรวงสาธารณสุข จังหวัดนนทบุรี

การอบรมครั้งนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วม 39 คน จาก 10 ประเทศ โดยมีบุคลากรด้านสุขภาพสัตว์ 12 คน ประกอบด้วยนายสัตวแพทย์จากกรมปศุสัตว์ 4 คน กรมทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่ง 1 คน สถาบันคชบาลแห่งชาติ ในพระอุปถัมภ์ฯ 1 คน และนายสัตวแพทย์จากต่างประเทศ 6 คน จากอินโดนีเซีย เนปาล มาเลเซีย ศรีลังกา และเวียดนาม

June Course เป็นหลักสูตรพื้นฐานสำคัญสำหรับผู้เข้าฝึกอบรมในโครงการ Regional Field Epidemiology Training Program for Veterinarians (R-FETPV) ซึ่งกรมปศุสัตว์ดำเนินการร่วมกับองค์การอาหารและเกษตรแห่งสหประชาชาติ (FAO) โดยมี น.สพ.ดร.ศิษฏ์ เปรมัษเฐียร กลุ่มระบาดวิทยาทางสัตวแพทย์ เป็นผู้จัดการโครงการ เพื่อพัฒนานายสัตวแพทย์ให้มีทักษะด้านระบาดวิทยา การเฝ้าระวัง การสอบสวนโรค และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล พร้อมเรียนรู้ร่วมกับบุคลากรด้านสาธารณสุขตามแนวทาง One Health

หลังจากนี้ ผู้เข้าฝึกอบรม R-FETPV จะเข้าสู่การฝึกอบรมภาคสนามในรูปแบบ training and service ต่อเนื่องประมาณ 18 เดือน เพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพในการนำความรู้ไปใช้แก้ไขปัญหาโรคสัตว์และภัยคุกคามด้านสุขภาพในสถานการณ์จริง

🎓 Strengthening Veterinary Field Epidemiology through One Health

The 2026 Introductory Course in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (June Course) concluded on 3 July after four weeks of intensive learning in epidemiology, surveillance, outbreak investigation, and data analysis.

Jointly organized by Thailand’s Department of Livestock Development (DLD) and Department of Disease Control, the course brought together 39 participants from 10 countries, including 12 animal health professionals from Thailand and across the region.

The course also marks the first step for trainees of the Regional Field Epidemiology Training Program for Veterinarians (R-FETPV), jointly implemented by DLD and FAO and managed by Dr. Sith Premashthira. R-FETPV trainees will now continue approximately 18 months of field-based training and service, applying epidemiology to real animal health challenges.

Learning alongside public health colleagues is also a valuable opportunity to build stronger One Health collaboration across sectors and countries. 🌏🐄🩺

วันจันทร์ที่ 8 มิถุนายน 2569 เวลา 09.20 น. นายสัตวแพทย์อุดม เจือจันทร์ รองอธิบดีกรมปศุสัตว์ เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดและกล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าอบรมหลักสูตร Introductory Course in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (June Course) ประจำปี 2569 โดยการอบรมจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 8 มิถุนายน 2569 – 3 กรกฎาคม 2569 จากความร่วมมือระหว่างกรมปศุสัตว์และกรมควบคุมโรค มีผู้เข้าร่วมอบรมจำนวน 39 คน จาก 10 ประเทศ เพื่อพัฒนาความรู้และทักษะด้านระบาดวิทยา การเฝ้าระวัง การสอบสวนโรค และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้านสุขภาพ ตลอดจนส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ร่วมกันระหว่างบุคลากรด้านสุขภาพคนและสุขภาพสัตว์ตามแนวทาง “One Health” หรือสุขภาพหนึ่งเดียว ซึ่งจะช่วยเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือข้ามสาขาและข้ามพรมแดน เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการป้องกัน ควบคุม และรับมือโรคติดต่อระหว่างสัตว์และคน รวมถึงภัยคุกคามด้านสุขภาพที่สำคัญในระดับประเทศและภูมิภาค ณ ห้องประชุมชั้น 7 อาคาร 10 กรมควบคุมโรค กระทรวงสาธารณสุข อำเภอเมืองนนทบุรี จังหวัดนนทบุรี
