The weather is harsh: freezing cold, rain, snow. During winter, shelter animals need more food just to survive and keep warm.
Unfortunately, after the holidays, pockets are empty and donations have dropped significantly.
People are worried about taxes, economic crises, job cuts, restructuring — and the impact is felt immediately by the most vulnerable ones: the animals.
When people are forced to be cautious, food donations disappear… but hunger does not.
