Sometimes, loving them means letting them figure things out.
I know how hard it can be to watch your dog struggle and not immediately step in. You want them to feel safe, happy and loved. And that comes from a beautiful place.
But confidence doesn’t grow when every little difficulty disappears. It grows when your dog gets the chance to try, learn and discover that they can handle things — knowing you’re there when they need you.
Of course, there’s a difference between allowing a little frustration and leaving your dog to cope with something they’re not ready for. Understanding that difference is part of being a good dog parent.
You don’t have to be perfect. Just keep learning who your dog is, what they’re telling you and what they need from you. ❤️
