In Delhi, thousands of community dogs are about to lose their homes.

Not because they’re dangerous.

Not because they’re sick.

But because fear won over facts.

This new law will tear dogs from streets they’ve lived on for generations and pack them into overcrowded shelters. A death sentence disguised as “safety.”

The humane solution exists: sterilize, vaccinate, educate.

It works.

This isn’t protection.

It’s erasure. 🐾

Guys, meet Alfie. 🐾

Tiny. Nervy. Completely adorable.

She’s a 2 year old rescue who looks like a literal forever puppy. (I actually can’t get over how damn cute she is😩)

Alfie’s had a bit of a tough start in life, and her past left her a little on edge. She’s reactive around dogs, struggles with separation from her mum, and is a bit unsure when they’re out and about. But under all that? She’s just a sweet girl trying her best.

We’re working on building her confidence so she can move through the world with a little more ease (and a little less barking).

Meet Nico 🐶

My second Whippet enrollee here in Lisbon and an absolute supermodel (scroll to see what I mean haha)

He’s currently on lesson three of my four-session puppy programme, where we focus on building the kind of structure that supports a happy, well-rounded dog: clear communication, calm habits, boundaries, and enrichment.

His mum’s been amazing with the training, and it’s really paying off!

He’s a smart boy with so much character, sass and personality! I’m so happy to be able to guide this sweet boy.

Why we’re using a clicker with Thor (and it’s not for obedience.) 🐾

Helping this boy feel more secure and comfortable in the outside world is our number one priority.

The clicker gives him something consistent to focus on when things feel overwhelming. It’s about creating calm not control.

We started small, at home, where he could really relax. And little by little, that calm is starting to show up in harder places too.

Oyster update 🐚

She had a bit of an accident (who hasn’t?) and ended up rocking the cone of shame! We’re taking training slow and steady. She’s been a total trooper, full of resilience and dramatic sighs. But still mixing it up with lots of cuddles and love!

We’ve started introducing crate training properly now. Slowly but surely.

I’m a big fan of using the crate as a safe little den great for recovery and rest, but also for building confidence and independence.

Don’t you worry though, Queen Oyster’s on the mend 💛👑

Meet one of my sweetest heartbreakers 🖤

Thor the Dalmatian x Staffy mix was rescued from a really tough start. He’s reactive out in the world… and with all he’s been through, it’s no surprise.

But behind the serious muzzle and big feelings is a sensitive, intelligent soul just trying to feel safe.

His new family is doing an incredible job. Calm, consistent, and fully committed to helping him unlearn fear and build trust through slow desensitisation, structure, and lots of love.

I’ve been so moved by their dedication and by how hard this sweet boy is trying. More soon on his progress and how far love and patience can go 🐾

🍂 P**p PSA 🍂

So… turns out little forest gremlins may have snacked on a couple of acorns recently 🫣

In case you didn’t know (which I actually didn’t!) acorns are toxic to dogs, especially puppies. They can cause diarrhea, vomiting, and even kidney damage in larger amounts.

Luckily, we caught it early, cleaned the garden and a good probiotic seemed to save the day but it’s a reminder that even the most innocent-seeming things on your walk (or your terrace 😅) can be risky for pups.

If in doubt always check online. Keep your eyes p*eled and your floofs safe.

🐚 Meet Oyster 🐾

This little Whippet wonder joined my puppy program at just 10 weeks old… barely out of the baby phase! 🐶💫

Massive kudos to her dad for getting started so early and laying down the foundations from day one.

We’ve been working on confidence, calmness, focus, and positive reinforcement techniques. Pretty much everything a young pup needs to navigate this big, busy world.

She’s smart, sweet, all legs, and an absolute stunner 💁🏽‍♀️✨

You’ll be seeing more of Oyster as we follow her journey from the highs, the hiccups, to the healing 🩵
