▪️We have started a Client Awareness Campaign about deadly Viral disease of Canines in hope that it will help them identify the underlying problems with their canine friends.
▪️Disease no. 3 Rabies
▪️ Rabies is very dangerous disease and there is no way back once dog is infected.
▪️ According to vaccinating at least 70% of a country's dog population, can save lives of dogs as well as humans.
Symptoms of rabies in dogs:
▪️ Stark change in temperament. Your dog can become moody, angry and bite itself.
▪️The Paralytic Stage: The dog stops eating and drinking, and their mouth tends to droop open, dripping with foamy saliva. As dehydration takes over, total paralysis starts to set in, and the animal is close to death.
▪️Rabies is preventable via vaccination so it is highly recommended to vaccine your dogs against it.

▪️Disease no. 2 Canine Parvo Virus
▪️ Canine parvo virus (CPV) is an acute and often fatal febrile disease with digestive system signs mostly involving stomach and intestines commonly seen in the canines.
▪️Canine parvo virus belongs to parvoviridae family. Most terrestrial carnivores are susceptible to natural CPV infection.
▪️Clinical signs: Reported symptoms include anorexia, vomiting, foul smelling diarhea with blood, fever, depression, lethargy etc.
▪️The course of disease is varied, and individuals can differ widely in their presentation.
▪️In some cases, death can occur at this early stage.
▪️No definite treatment is reported, only supportive therapy is done to save life.
▪️CPV is preventable via vaccination so it is highly recommended to vaccine your dogs against it.

We have started a Client Awareness Campaign about deadly Viral disease of Canines in hope that it will help them identify the underlying problems with their canine friends.
▪️Disease no. 1 Canine Distemper Virus
▪️ Canine distemper virus (CDV) is an acute and often fatal febrile disease with respiratory and central nervous system signs most commonly seen in the canines.
▪️Canine distemper is caused by a paramyxovirus of the genus Morbillivirus. Most terrestrial carnivores are susceptible to natural CDV infection.
▪️Clinical signs: Reported symptoms include respiratory signs, which may be accompanied by oculo-nasal discharge, and gastrointestinal signs such as anorexia, vomiting and diarrhoea and nervous signs at terminal stage.
▪️The course of disease is varied, and individuals can differ widely in their presentation.
▪️In some cases, death can occur at this early stage.
▪️Animals which survive the initial phase of disease may either make a full recovery or go on to develop progressive neurological signs.
▪️Neurological signs include blindness, ataxia, paresis, seizures and characteristic “Chewing Gum Fits”.
▪️Once neurological signs develop death is almost inevitable.
▪️CDV is preventable via vaccination so it is highly recommended to vaccine your dogs against it.
