Canine parvovirus (CPV) is a highly contagious viral disease of dogs that commonly causes acute gastrointestinal illness in puppiesspecifically in the intestines, it targets quickly dividing cells, resulting symptoms such vomiting, bloody diarrhea, appetite loss, and severe dehydration.

The disease most often strikes in pups between six and 20 weeks old, but older animals are sometimes also affected. .

After a tough journey battling distemper and facing complications that led to the loss of one of her limbs, sheโ€™s still got more love to give than we ever imagined. She spent almost two months in the clinic, fighting every day, and now she's ready to live her best life.
