🐾 Kovi’s Miraculous Recovery After a Life-Threatening Accident 🐾

Kovi was run over by a TVS vehicle — a terrifying experience no fur parent ever wants to face. He sustained severe internal injuries that led to a ruptured spleen, a critical emergency that required an immediate splenectomy — a surgery where the damaged spleen is removed to stop internal bleeding and save the patient's life.
💡 Why this matters:
The spleen plays a key role in filtering blood and fighting infections. Once it's ruptured, massive internal bleeding can occur, often leading to shock or death if not treated urgently. In hit-by-car cases, what may look like a simple limp or scrape can hide deadly internal trauma.

Thanks to quick action, intensive care, and Kovi’s fighting spirit, he survived the surgery, overcame infection, and is now strong enough to go home! 🏡🐶❤️

PYOMETRA in Pets: A Silent but Deadly Threat‼️

Pyometra is a life-threatening uterine infection that commonly affects unspayed female dogs and cats, especially those over 5 years old. It can happen after a heat cycle and worsens quickly if not treated.

What Causes It❓
After heat, hormonal changes can cause the uterine lining to thicken. If bacteria enter the uterus, they can multiply rapidly—leading to infection and pus build-up.

Signs to Watch Out For:

⚠️ Vaginal discharge (pus or blood)

⚠️ Swollen abdomen

⚠️ Lethargy and weakness

⚠️ Loss of appetite

⚠️ Vomiting or diarrhea

⚠️ Increased thirst and urination

⚠️ Fever

Why It’s Dangerous:❓
If untreated, pyometra can lead to sepsis, kidney failure, or even death. IT'S A MEDICAL EMERGENCY.

Treatment:

Emergency surgery (spaying) is often the only effective treatment.

IV fluids, antibiotics, and supportive care are essential.

Prevention:

✔️ Spay your pets early—preferably before their first or second heat.

✔️ Regular check-ups, especially for older unspayed females.

✔️ Never ignore unusual vaginal discharge or behavioral changes.
