🌿 Green Transformation in Action! 🌱

As part of Mayor Jane Yap’s Executive Agenda on Green Transformation, the Fish Wardens of the Tagbilaran City Agriculture and Veterinary Office continue their commitment to protecting and restoring our coastal environment pinaagi sa pag-maintain og pag-atiman sa atong mangroves.

Regular ilang pagbisbis sa mga mangrove seedlings aron healthy ang ilang pagtubo, while also conducting inventory to monitor the number and condition of each seedling. Kini nga mga simple pero importante nga buluhaton makatabang sa pagpalig-on sa atong coastal ecosystems ug pagpanalipod sa atong mga baybayon.

Together, we are growing a greener, safer, and more sustainable Tagbilaran City. 🌱🌊

We proudly congratulate the Manga National High School 4-H Club for bagging 🥇 1st Place in the Outstanding Young Farmer (4-H Club) Category during the Suhid sa Malampusong Mag-uuma og Mangingisda'ng Bol-anon 2026 Awarding Ceremony held at the Bohol Cultural Center last July 15, 2026. 👏🌱

On July 13, 2026, the Ceremonial Turnover of Fisheries Livelihood and Seaweeds Production Equipment was held at the City Hall Atrium pinaagi sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Provincial Fisheries Office (PFO), ug sa Provincial Government of Bohol through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA), in partnership with the City Government of Tagbilaran.

Ang mga livelihood assistance ug fisheries equipment nga gipang-turn over mao ang mosunod:

🐟 1 unit Fish Coral – Pundok sa Gagmayng Mananagat sa Ubujan

🚤 1 unit Marine Engine – Primitivo Capino

🌱 1 unit Seaweed Nursery – Manga Riverside Fishermen Association

🐠 1 unit Bangus Fish Cage – Bool Junction Vendors Association

🐠 1 unit Bangus Fish Cage – Ubujan Fishermen Association

🐠 1 unit Bangus Fish Cage – Manga Tubig Gamay Fisherfolk Association

Kining mga proyekto nagpakita sa padayon nga paningkamot sa atong mga partner agencies ug sa City Government of Tagbilaran pinaagi sa suporta og liderato ni Cong. Baba Yap, Mayor Jane Yap, Vice Mayor Adam Jala og sa 16th Sangguniang Panglungsod through Hon. Gian Besas isip Chair sa Committee on Agrifisheries and Livelihood; sa pagpalig-on sa panginabuhian sa atong fisherfolk, pagpausbaw sa fisheries production, ug pag-amuma sa atong marine resources.
