Chopine, a 7-year-old intact female, was initially diagnosed with Canine Heartworm Disease and Babesia. Unfortunately, her condition progressed and signs of open pyometra appeared — a life-threatening uterine infection requiring immediate intervention.
She was rushed into surgery and successfully underwent OVH (ovariohysterectomy).
A reminder that early diagnosis, timely treatment, and preventive care can save lives.
Stay strong, Chopine. 🐾💛
