Got this on your tanks?
These are Bladder Snails (Physella acuta) π. Some say they are pests because they munch on plant leaves. To others they are beneficial specifically in the nitrogen cycle process.
Snails are natural part of our aquaria. But it's an eyesore when they take over the whole tank. Majority will agree that snails hitch hikes with our live plants but it's not the only culprit. Any substrate, decoration or filter that may have clutched snail eggs may be the reason as well.
For you, would you keep them or eradicate them in your tank?
