Reminder (Long post):
If your dog accidentally bites someone, the owner is responsible for covering the cost of the vaccine for the person who was bitten. We are very transparent about your dogs’ behavior, and we hope that other fur moms will also be transparent about their dogs’ behavior. If you know that your dog has behavioral issues toward other dogs or people, please let us know. All dogs or pets have some attitude, and we are really doing our best to prevent fights or conflicts between them.
At Ezra Mei’s Happy Paws Boarding, we accept dogs that may have some behavioral issues because we are capable of handling them. However, there are still incidents where dogs may bite. We will not make you shoulder the cost if your dog was not the one that bit someone. We are transparent in all situations. If we get bitten or scratched but it is only mild, we will not demand vaccination since fully vaccinated pets are a requirement.
However, if the bite is deep or severe, we will require you to shoulder the cost of the vaccine. We have been very lenient, so starting today, we will be providing an agreement or waiver stating that if your dog bites someone, you are obligated to have the bitten person vaccinated.
My children and I are protected, but I have other family members who are not protected.
Thank you for your understanding.
Ps: We separate your dogs if the owner instructs us to keep them apart from other dogs. If a dog truly cannot get along with other dogs, we make sure to separate them. Dogs that are in heat are also separated. Sometimes, though, one may escape and enter another area.
We are also very honest whenever the dogs get into a fight, and the fur moms are aware of why it happened. There are reasons why our alpha dog at home sometimes fights especially if a boarding dog picks a fight with one of his companions. My alpha dog is very patient, but there are times when another dog goes too far.
I’ve been in this business for several years, so my resident dogs are already used to socializing.
However, if I see that a boarding dog truly cannot get along with my resident dogs especially if they keep fighting repeatedly I really separate them or we won’t accept them it depends on the situation . But if they can sleep side by side and eat together peacefully, then that’s perfectly fine.
We are very responsible with our clients and the dogs we board. We wholeheartedly welcome and treat every pet as part of our family. Our regular clients and those whose pets we have cared for over a long time know this very well. Clients even come to us from faraway places because they appreciate the effort we give to their pets, whom we treat as family.
That’s why we are grateful to our clients who have continued to trust us even traveling from far away from the time we started until now. We wouldn’t be where we are today without our loyal clients. Thank you very much we truly love and cherish your pets. Even if we can’t mention each of you individually, we are so grateful to have you.
