Our patient Hector, a male Chow Chow is now fully recovered after undergoing a successful cystotomy (bladder stone removal surgery)!

Bladder stones can cause pain, difficulty urinating, and even life-threatening urinary blockage if left untreated. Watch out for signs such as straining to urinate, blood in the urine, frequent urination, or decreased appetite.

When Jiro came to us, he was suffering from a urethral stone blockage that prevented him from urinatingโ€”a painful and potentially life-threatening emergency. After careful assessment and pre surgery diagnostic tests, to give him relief and help prevent future obstructions, Jiro underwent a scrotal urethrostomy, a surgical procedure that creates a new, wider opening for urine to pass more easily.

Today, we're happy to share that Jiro's surgical wound is now fully healed, and he is doing well!

An aural hematoma occurs when blood accumulates between the skin and cartilage of the ear flap, often caused by excessive head shaking or scratching due to ear infections, allergies, or ear mites.

Our patient ๐Ÿ…‘๐Ÿ…”๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ…ฉ๐Ÿ…ž๐Ÿ…˜ recently underwent aural hematoma surgery to relieve discomfort, prevent recurrence, and restore the normal shape of the ear. Early diagnosis and treatment are important to avoid permanent ear deformities and ongoing pain.
