WHY IS IT NOT OKAY TO HAVE UNSTERILIZED PETS❓❓❓
Imagine you have 1 cat. It doesn't matter if your cat is male or female -- both genders contribute to procreation. Your cat got pregnant or got a female cat pregnant in January, and 6 kittens were born in March. Your cat got pregnant or got a female cat pregnant again in May, and another 6 kittens were born in July. Your cat got pregnant or got a female cat pregnant again in September, and another 6 kittens were born in November. You just contributed 18 kittens to the overpopulation of cats in 1 year.
If your cat was female and couldn't support lots of cats, you'd probably put them up for adoption and, in desperation to get rid of them, would not have even cared if these kittens landed another irresponsible pet owner just like you. These 18 kittens would be producing 18 kittens each per year starting at the age of 6 months. Or, you would have abandoned the kittens to die in the streets. The surviving kittens would also be producing 18 kittens each per year starting at the age of 6 months.
If your cat was male and he got either a stray cat or a pet of another irresponsible pet owner just like you pregnant, you wouldn't have cared if his kittens ended up with either another irreponsible pet owner just like you, were thrown out into the streets to die, or were born in the streets and died of the harsh stray life. The surviving kittens would also be producing 18 kittens each per year starting at the age of 6 months. And mind you, your male cat could have procreated with different female cats a hundred times in a year, which makes you even more irresponsible than the irresponsible owners of the unsterilized female cats.
Now, I'm sure lots of you irresponsible pet owners will hate me when you read this. But I DON'T CARE coz that's the hard truth. WHY? Look at the photo of the dead newborn kitten in this post. This kitten was found in the streets the other day, still attached to its placenta. I had to travel to the dangerous streets of a far away Sta. Ana, Taytay community just to rescue this kitten and try help it survive even though I knew from the very start that the chances are very low because of how young it is. I spent 2 DAYS WITH SLEEPLESS NIGHTS bottlefeeding the poor kitten, making sure his body temperature is regulated since his young body is still unable to regulate its own temperature, and assisting the kitten in peeing and pooping since his young body is still unable to do so on its own ROUND THE CLOCK.
If that did not make you irresponsible owners even a little bit guilty then please stop calling yourselves human beings. We were born as human beings instead of a w**d or a cockroach for a reason. We have an advanced brain than brutes and the gift of free will because we were meant to make responsible decisions in life and become the stewards of creation. Be one.
And don't give me the crap excuses why your cats remain unsterilized. We're in the year 2025. There are so many low-cost and free kapon options nowadays. If you live in an area where there are no free or low-cost kapon services, then travel. If you can't travel, then pay for the service. And don't tell me you can't afford that unless you can't even afford a cell phone and can't afford to browse the internet every single day. That's called being responsible pet owners. Just like how all human beings should be.
