Let’s talk about something uncomfortable but incredibly common: Bladder Stones in Dogs. 🐶💔
Just like humans get kidney stones, our furry best friends can develop rock-like formations in their bladders. They can range from the size of a grain of sand to a literal golf ball! 😱
Because our pups can't tell us when they're hurting, it’s up to us to spot the signs.

Straining or crying while trying to urinate.
Frequent attempts to go with very little output.
Blood in the urine (discolored or pinkish p*e).
Licking the urinary opening constantly.

Stones usually form due to a combination of:
Diet & Minerals: Too much of certain minerals in their food.
Low Water Intake: Concentrated urine makes it easier for crystals to clump together.
Bladder Infections: Bacteria can change the bladder's pH, triggering stone growth.
Genetics: Some breeds (like Dalmatians, Schnauzers, Shih Tzus, and Bulldogs) are more prone to them.
