Hi mga ka Zoophilist

This brave stray dog is currently being fostered by Celmari Auigo from Sta. Cruz.

We are humbly appealing sa inyong mga kasing-kasing.

Let’s give this dog a second chance to live. Dili lalim ang iyang giagian, pero with your help, naa pa tay chance na maluwas siya.

Our plan po is next month, in celebration of our 6th anniversary . As of now, naga tap pa mi ug potential partners and donors para mas mapadako ug ma-successful atong activity.

For everyone’s info, 6 years na ta ga conduct ug kapon operations bisan asa na ta nakaabot within Davao del Sur, and same pud sa atong vaccination drives. Dako kaayo ni nga effort from our small team ug sa atong mga katuwang

Ngano kapon lang atong ma-offer?
Because limited lang gyud ang veterinarians sa Provincial Veterinary Office-Davao del Sur ..4 lang kabuok vets, and usually 2 lang ang maka-join sa atong activity together with their staff kay dli mn pwd biyaan ang opisina nila..

Also, ang spay (for female animals) is a more delicate and time-consuming surgical procedure. It can take around 45 minutes to 1.5 hours per animal, depende sa case. Unlike sa kapon (castration for males) nga usually around 15–20 minutes ra mahuman. Mao na nga mas daghan ta matabangan if kapon ang atong focus during outreach.

In the past 6 years, more or less 3,000 pets na ang atong nakapon within Davao del Sur, including Digos City. That means thousands of unwanted litters ang atong napugngan, less stray population, less suffering

Daghang salamat kaayo sa atong supporters and donors nga padayon naga salig ug naga tabang sa among advocacy. Because of you, padayon ta makatabang sa atong mga fur babies

Stay tuned for updates!

CHEMOTHERAPY PROJECT UPDATE

From being weak and fighting every day, ngayon mas strong na siya and full of life. This is why we keep going.

Isang stray dog.. Mahaba pa ang laban, but we are hopeful and committed na samahan siya hanggang dulo.

Malaking pasasalamat kay Dok Cams Cams for continuously administering the chemotherapy injections and guiding us every step of the way. Your dedication saves lives.

This project is not easy..emotionally and financially..but seeing them fight and survive makes everything worth it. Every session, every effort, every support matters.

We also thank everyone who supported our cause..sa mga nagdodonate, nagsheshare, at nagdadasal.

Together, we give them a fighting chance.

Hi mga Ka Zoophilist

Today, on World Veterinary Day, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to all veterinarians who dedicate their lives to saving and caring for animals.

To our incredible partner vets, clinics, and volunteers in Zoophilist Animal Rescue Group, thank you for your compassion, patience, and unwavering commitment. From long hours in the clinic, emergency rescues, surgeries, and follow-up care, to the quiet moments of comfort you give to animals who have known only pain, you are their voice, their hope, and their second chance.

A special thank you to our partner veterinary clinics who continuously support our mission. Your generosity, expertise, and willingness to help, whether through low-cost services, emergency care, or guidance, make a huge difference in every life we touch. We are truly grateful to stand beside you in this advocacy.

Your work is not easy. It requires strength, sacrifice, and a genuine love for life in all forms. Yet, you continue to show up, even when it’s exhausting, even when it’s heartbreaking. Because of you, countless strays are fed, treated, vaccinated, and given the chance to live a better life.

We also extend our appreciation to everyone behind the scenes..rescuers, feeders, fosters, and supporters who stand alongside our veterinarians and partner clinics in this mission. Together, we create a community built on compassion and action.

Thank you for choosing to care. Thank you for never giving up on them..

Happy World Veterinary Day!

Hi mga Ka Zoophilist

Thanking Mainichi Coffee Shop (inside Nakayama Building) for accommodating our coin bank. The money we collected from it will be used for our upcoming stray animal feeding activity.

We truly appreciate your kindness and support in helping us turn small coins into something meaningful for the strays. This will go a long way in providing food and care for them.

We know na ang feeding of strays is not the solution pra makontrol ang population..

Feeding gives them a chance to survive today, habang ang spay and neuter ang solusyon para sa bukas.

Hindi ito “either-or.” Magkasama silang dapat ginagawa.
Feed with compassion. Support spay and neuter.

Hi mga Ka Zoophilist

Grabe na gyud ka-init ang panahon karon ..
Please check on your furbabies always. The heat index can reach around 40°C or even higher, and that’s already dangerous, not just for us, but especially for them.

Make sure they have:
Clean and fresh water all the time
A shaded, cool place to rest
Proper ventilation (ayaw sila ibutang sa initan)
Never leave them inside parked vehicles
If possible, limit walks during peak hours (10 AM – 4 PM) kay sakit na kaayo sa paws ang init nga kalsada.

Remember, our pets can’t tell us when they’re already suffering from heat. Let’s be responsible and keep them safe this hot season

Hi mga Ka Zoophilist

As we take this time to rest, travel, and reflect this Holy Week, please don’t forget our pets at home.

If you’re going on vacation, make sure they are properly cared for:
Ibilin sila sa trusted person (family, friend, or pet sitter)
Ensure naa silay enough food and clean water everyday
Safe and comfortable ilang space (dili init, dili pasagdan)
Check their health before leaving
Ayaw jud sila pasagdi or i-abandon

They depend on us.

This Lenten Season, let’s be reminded to choose kindness every day.

Every life matters, and every act of compassion makes a difference.
Sa atong mga gagmay nga paagi..pagpakaon, pag rescue, ug pag amuma..we can give them hope and a second chance.

Let’s treat everyone with respect and love, especially the voiceless ones who need us the most.

Be kind. Always.
