Goldfish are one of the oldest domesticated fish species, originally bred from wild carp over 1,000 years ago. Today, they exist in many unique forms, each with distinct body shapes, fins, and features developed through selective breeding.

🔶 Common Goldfish
A hardy, streamlined variety known for fast swimming and strong adaptability. Ideal for beginners and large tanks or ponds.

🔶 Oranda
Recognized by its “wen” (fleshy head growth). Requires clean water and stable conditions for healthy development.

🔶 Ryukin
Features a high hump and deep body with flowing fins. Active swimmers but need spacious tanks.

🔶 Lionhead
Rounded body with no dorsal fin and a prominent head growth. Moves slower and prefers calm water conditions.

🔶 Black Moor
