Selected from 860 applications across the country, this recognition is a testament to Fresco's dedication to real-world impact and community-driven projects.

This year’s theme, “Youth Action in Regenerating Pathways to Sustainable Futures”, deeply aligns with Dennis’s everyday work—bringing technology, farming, and young people together to build a brighter, greener, solarpunk future.

We’re excited to see where this journey takes him—and us. Here’s to more opportunities for young leaders to grow, inspire, and regenerate hope through action.

What an incredible journey it has been!

From the first online pre-event sessions, Tech Dinner, to Demo Day, we are thrilled to have been part of the iDEYA Mindanao Startup Challenge (iMSC) Mixer 4.0

Over the past few months, we’ve gained invaluable insights through sessions led by industry experts on, Financial Modeling, Startup Roadmapping, What Makes Startups Investable, and Impactful Storytelling.

Filipinos have one of the highest screen times in the world. Averaging at 8 hours and 52 minutes per day, that's 1/3 of a day. The market cap of social media platforms continues to increase, which means more and more people are on social media. We must learn to leverage 1/3 of everyone's daily lives to educate and spread awareness on our advocacies. The challenge is how can we market it in such a way that it triggers a dopamine 'hit'

Young leaders took the spotlight in SEARCA’s special webinar held in celebration of International Youth Day! 🌏✨

Our youth speakers shared powerful insights from their work in driving change in local agrifood systems. They highlighted challenges, innovations, and solutions for engaging more young people in agrifood systems.

Over 300 participants from Southeast Asia and beyond tuned in to learn from their experiences and be inspired by their stories. The webinar is part of SEARCA's Young Forces for Agricultural Innovation initiative.

Fresco’s Agri-Housing Solution Tops Habitat for Humanity’s Asia-Pacific Top 40!

Out of 88 entries across 12 Asia-Pacific countries, our agri-inspired housing solution made the cut in the Habitat for Humanity Asia-Pacific Solutions Grant 2025.

We proposed tackling housing challenges through an agricultural lens—with ideas like urban farms, bio/green walls, and hyperlocal community-driven greening projects.

While we didn’t secure the grant, we’re grateful for the chance to connect with brilliant young leaders from across the region during the Habitat Youth Assembly and exchange bold solutions for sustainable housing.

We emerged as the CHAMPION at the LAMBIGIT 2025 Reverse Hackathon!

Bringing fresh ideas to the PH coconut supply chain.

Fresh off the launch of the country’s first-ever integrated coconut processing facility by FICCO (inaugurated by PBBM last April), this hackathon gathered passionate minds to solve real supply chain challenges. The FICCO facility aims to uplift 16,000+ farming families by creating efficient, value-added, and inclusive coconut systems – processing everything from water to husks with zero waste.

Held at USTP Makerspace in CDO, the event united local changemakers for two days of collaboration and tech-driven problem-solving. Teams tackled real-world issues with guidance from FICCO and industry experts.

Huge thanks to CDObites, FICCO - First Community Cooperative, DTI Misamis Oriental, and all behind LAMBIGIT 2025! We left not just with a win, but with purpose, allies, and a powerful truth:

4-H Club Secures Seat in Oro Youth Development Council

The 4-H Club Federation of Cagayan de Oro City successfully retained its representation in the Oro Youth Development Council (OYDC), the city's highest youth policy-recommending body, during the Oro Youth Leaders Convergence 2025, continuing its role as a voice for the Special Advocacy sector.

Ms. Maydene Demesana (4-H San Simon) and Engr. Dennis Ivan Chavez of Fresco Greenovations, Inc. represented the organization, advocating for agricultural innovation, youth empowerment, and sustainable development in local policymaking.

Kathleen Representing 4-H At Northern Mindanao Policy Workshop

Kathleen, our co-founder representing the 4-H Club Federation of Cagayan de Oro City, attended the Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Council-X (RAFC-X) workshop, organized by the Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries.

The workshop focused on “Shaping Gender Responsive Advocacy and Policy Monitoring for Agricultural and Fishery Councils.”

Kathleen emphasized the need to empower young farmers and fisherfolk to ensure their voices are heard in shaping sustainable and gender-responsive agri-fishery policies.

Here at Fresco and 4-H Federation, we’re all in Backing youth voices in policy-making.
