🐾 SUCCESSFUL SCROTAL ABLATION SURGERY | SPIKEY’S SECOND CHANCE ❤️

Meet Spikey, an 11-year-old dog who came to Tito Doc Veterinary Clinic with a severely infected and self-traumatized sc***um caused by chronic orchitis. The wound had become extensive, painful, and was suspected to have developed a chronic draining tract (Fistula).

After a thorough physical examination, blood work, and pre-anesthetic assessment, we proceeded with a scrotal ablation and bilateral castration to completely remove the diseased tissue and eliminate the source of infection.

The surgery was successful, and we’re happy to share that Spikey is now recovering well! 🩺✨ His incision is healing nicely, his comfort has greatly improved, and he’s on his way to a healthier, pain-free life.

This case is a reminder that chronic wounds and persistent swelling in the scrotal area should never be ignored. Early veterinary consultation can prevent complications and improve outcomes.

🐾 Another Life Saved at Tito Doc Veterinary Clinic ❤️

Meet Jammy, a brave mama dog who came to us after experiencing more than 24 hours of difficult labor (dystocia). She had already delivered two deceased puppies before arriving at our clinic, and her condition had become critical.

During emergency surgery, we discovered that her uterus was already severely damaged and becoming necrotic. To save her life, an emergency Caesarean section and ovariohysterectomy (spay) were performed. Despite the challenges and a difficult postoperative period, Jammy fought hard.

Today, just 12 hours after surgery, she is:
🐶 Bright, alert, and responsive
💧 Drinking water on her own
🍽️ Eating voluntarily
❤️ Recovering stronger than expected

While we are saddened that not all puppies could be saved, we are grateful that Jammy was given a second chance at life.

This case is a reminder that prolonged labor is a true emergency. If your pregnant pet strains for a prolonged period without delivering, seek veterinary care immediately. Early intervention can save both the mother and her puppies.

Despite the current weather conditions, Tito Doc Veterinary Clinic remains OPEN and ready to serve you and your beloved pets.

💙 To our fellow community members affected by the recent flooding:

As our small way of helping during this difficult time, we are offering FREE veterinary consultations for pets affected by the flood.

Floodwater can expose pets to serious diseases such as Leptospirosis, which can be life-threatening if left untreated. We can also assess your pet and provide preventive (prophylactic) treatment for Leptospirosis when appropriate, based on your pet’s condition and risk of exposure.

If your pet has:
🐾 Waded through or was exposed to floodwater
🐾 Has wounds that came into contact with floodwater
🐾 Is showing signs of illness after the flooding (loss of appetite, vomiting, fever, weakness, etc.)

Please don’t delay—bring them in for evaluation as soon as possible.
