To all our valued customers, appointments with 5in1/ 6in1 vaccinations will be unfortunately STOPPED for now due to NON-AVAILABILITY OF VACCINES. If your appointment with us today is for 5in1/ 6in1 vaccines, please refrain from coming to us until further notice. We are very sorry for the inconveniences that this may cause you as supplies are also affected by the on going enhanced community quarantine.

We advise PET OWNERS whose pets will be affected to STRICTLY AVOID LETTING YOUR DOGS ROAM AROUND UNCLEAN AREAS and TO AVOID EXPOSING THEM TO OTHER DOGS IF THEY HAVE NO/ INCOMPLETE VACCINATIONS to avoid getting sick with viral diseases.

As Clinicovet wants to be a part of the solution on this COVID 19 crisis, we will strictly accept those clients WITH APPOINTMENTS ONLY.
I already called the OFFICE of the CITY MAYOR and we are advised to.
1. Address only those with appointments ONLY so that your pets' vaccinations will not be LAPSED.
2. SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE OBSERVED. In doing so, please ONE PET, ONE OWNER POLICY only. AVOID OVERCROWDING INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE CLINIC.
3. DO NOT TOUCH OUR DOORKNOBS OR ANY OTHER ITEMS ON THE CLINIC. THE STAFFS
WILL DO IT FOR YOU. WE WILL PLACE ALCOHOL SPRAY ON THE ENTRANCE.
4. LIMITED OPERATION HOURS ONLY.
9:30 AM UNTIL 5PM ONLY.

In line with our social and professional responsibility in promoting animal welfare, Clinicovet Animal House will be offering LOW-COST SPAY AND NEUTER ( FOR CATS ONLY) on OCTOBER 24 -25. We will be setting another date for dogs ASAP.

COSTS
CASTRATION (male cats)- 700 (NATIVE or RESCUE CATS)
- 1000 PUREBREED
SPAYING ( female cats)- 2000 ( NATIVE or RESCUE CATS)
- 2500 to 3000 for PUREBREED
* Costs are inclusive of the surgery, anesthetics, initial antibiotics and anti inflammatory injectibles.
* take home medicines are not included on the cost.

GUIDELINES!!!!
1. PRE-REGISTRATION IS NEEDED so we would know what to expect . Either send me a PM, text or call at 09079411645, or just drop by at the clinic for enlistment
2. Earliest age for castration - as long as the balls are palpable, 5 months and above.
Earliest age for spaying - 5 months and older
3. Remember that these procedures are SURGICAL PROCEDURES and involves the use of GENERAL ANESTHESIA and like any other surgeries, carry surgical risks. As much as possible, only APPARENTLY HEALTHY patients should undergo the surgery.
4. For cats older than 6 years, pre surgical bloodworks should be done to ensure safety from surgery. Prices for labworks is not included on the costs above.
5. 6 to 12 hours fasting prior to surgery is mandatory.
6. Place your cats in CAGES.
7. These procedures are out-patient surgeries. As long as the cats are recovered from anesthesia and are safe to go home, they can already be brought home..

This patient was presented with colic ( abdominal pain) and dysuria. We did an abdominal ulrasound and found these stones on the left kidney and also some degree of hydronephrosis. A painful condition indeed. She is currently on prescription diet, antibiotics, pain reliever, urinary acidifier as it turned out that these are struvite stones, and water therapy.
The aim of treatment is to dissolve these stones which may take months, but a reduction in size is a good start so that further insult to the kidneys is lessened. There are modern and more advanced approaches towards this condition like lithotripsy where the stones are broken down into tiny bits in hopes that these can be passed out during urination.
