Prizegiving was as always a highlight, with many a gleaming trophy 🏆 with decades of Pony Club history changing hands for photos 💗 (but now safely docked back in the PC trophy cabinet ready for next year’s crew) Congratulations to all riders!

Next season, Jo Street will take the helm as our Captain of the Ship, a more than qualified Head Coach to steer us true. She’ll be well supported by our long-standing Commodore, Moana, who continues to keep the whole fleet steady as President. With this crew guiding us, we’re set for smooth sailing ahead!

Of course, none of this voyage would be possible without our trusty four-legged ships, the ponies, who carried their riders through every tack and turn. And a huge wave 🌊 of thanks to all the parents who crewed tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the ship steady.

Here’s to fair winds, full sails, and another Pony Club season ready to set sail! 🐴⛵️

We’re incredibly proud to be a part of the rejuvenation of Papakura Stream which runs through our property.

Thank you so much to Conservation Volunteers Auckland Trees for Survival for your support. Our lovely member, Nicky Auld has been instrumental in driving our club beautification projects🩷

If you’d like to be a part of this project our next planting date is Saturday 30 August. If the date doesn’t suit you can join CV at a wide variety of locations and dates. Conservation Volunteers Auckland onsite today planting along Papakura Stream

We’re very lucky to work with them and Trees for Survival

Funding from Waterways Protection Grant has helped with w**d eradication.

To date children from Mellons Bay Primary have grown and planted 580 natives. With a stunning day hoping for a similar number to be planted by the Conservation Volunteers team.

❄️ROUND TWO WINTER SHOW HUNTER SERIES❄️

📅 Next Sunday, 3rd August
📌 Entries close Wednesday evening!

Pony classes will run in height categories – no height certificate required, you just need to know a rough guide of your pony’s height. Choose your category from:

🐭 Category A: Up to 128cm
🐴 Category B: Over 128cm – up to 138cm
🦄 Category C: Over 138cm – up to 148cm

We’ve set it up this way to help pony riders get into the groove with correct stride patterns for their size – awesome practice before the season kicks off! 💪

📍 All Show Hunter classes will run in Ring 1
🔥 Ring 2 is warm-up only all day, so it’s a fab day for green horses or those needing miles.

🕢 Pony warm-up: 7:30–8:00am
🐎 Hack classes: Not before 11am

✅ Smart casual attire
❌ No plaiting required

Our pony clubbers had an awesome visit to the Majestic depot this week.

Such a great team to safely move horses from A to B and back again.
