Congratulations to Zoe, our clinic coordinator, who is celebrating 9 years at First Vets!

Zoe is an absolute SUPERSTAR who has been involved in almost all areas of our clinic. Starting in reception, then moving to vet nursing in our hospital, and now as our clinic coordinator!

Thanks for everything you do Zoe! We're so lucky to have you!!!

📣 Important notice for our clients📣

Due to unexpected illness in our team, we won't be able to offer vet services tomorrow, Saturday 1st August. We are very sorry for the inconvenience!

We are still open from 9 am to 12:30 pm if you need any pet supplies, and we can take bookings for next week.

If you have an urgent or emergency situation, the Regional Emergency Clinic hosted by Totally Vets Feilding is open as normal.

A case of H5 bird flu has been detected in New Zealand. This is a highly contagious disease that affects birds including, chickens, pet birds, ducks, and our native birds.

𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐤, 𝐢𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥, 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐔𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐂.

We will need to have some extra precautions in place, and we will let you know what to do before you arrive.

If you find sick or dead birds outside:

If you're out walking your dog, keep them away from birds and any dead birds you find.

We celebrated Wear The Rainbow Day 🌈 earlier this month by flying the rainbow flag, digging through our wardrobes for anything rainbow, and having a rainbow-themed morning tea 🙂
