🐾 Dogs NZ Scent Trials – Wellington 🐾

What a fantastic start to the weekend at the Dogs NZ Scent Trials at the Vertical Horizonz Training Centre in Wellington!

This is our first time heading down to Wellington for this event, and we've been blown away by the turnout. The scent work community has once again made us feel incredibly welcome, and it's great to catch up with so many passionate dog lovers and their talented four-legged teammates.

These dogs certainly know their scents... and we're pretty sure Tukkathyme is high on their list of favourite things to find! 🐶👃 They know how to sniff out a good deal when they see one.

Riaan has flown down with a full range of Tukkathyme products, samples, and plenty of goodie bags, and we're looking forward to meeting more competitors and supporters today and tomorrow.

Something a little different for us this weekend at the 2 day American Bully Rumbull NZ Nationals in Manukau.

Good atmosphere, great people and some seriously impressive dogs. You can see the amount of work, care and attention that goes into them.

We’re supporting the event with a few prizes for some of the top dogs, along with Tukkathyme goodie bags packed with samples of our Herbal Dog Muesli, Nature’s Mix and Crunchies.

What a beautiful morning for a beautiful cause 💕🐾

On Sunday 3rd May, Margaret Johnston hosted a very special Breakfast for Dog Mums in support of the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ — bringing together dog lovers, sweet treats, wagging tails and plenty of pink spirit for an amazing cause.

We were proud to share some of our famous Tukkathyme Goodie Bags for the doggos to take home and enjoy — packed with Crunchies, our Original Herbal Dog Muesli and Nature’s Mix for a little natural boost of goodness and support for joint health and overall wellbeing. 🐶

The pups definitely approved… and we think the hooomans did too! 💗

Dog Day at Work at the Farm Source Head Office in Hamilton looked like a whole lot of fun! 🐾😄

A huge shoutout to Trisha Franklyn for organising such a great day for the doggos to accompany their hoooomans to work and finally see what they get up to all day 👀🐶

We sent along some Tukkathyme goodie bags packed with our Crunchies, sample bags of our Herbal Dog Muesli, and Nature’s Mix — and we’re pretty sure a few dogs are now wondering why their hooomans have been hiding these magical snack bags from them this whole time 😂

🐾 Day 3 at the Easter Show NZ 2026 at the ASB Showgrounds — and we’re still going strong

I'm not going to lie… standing on our feet for 8+ hours a day, third day in a row, is hard work 😅 And so many people are already through the doors. It's going to be busy, so come early. The show has so much to offer everyone in your family.

But it’s worth it.

For us, these events aren’t just about selling product — it’s about building real relationships. Having proper chats, understanding people’s dogs, and helping where we can.

We believe it’s important to be accessible. To stand behind what we do, know our product, and give honest advice — not just sit behind a website.

Tukkathyme has been part of some amazing long-standing relationships too — breeders who’ve raised generations of champion dogs on it for over 20 years. Those are the kinds of relationships we truly value, and what we’re here to continue building.

And to be honest — that’s exactly why we bought the brand.
We saw what it did for our own dogs, believed in it, and knew more people needed access to it. That is why we want to share it now with all dog owners.

We’re almost a year into this journey now, and every event, every conversation, and every customer is helping grow something bigger.
