An incredibly beautiful whanau back home in Taupō whom I’m very close to, have been struck with tragedy that no parents should have to endure. Times like these aren’t fun to say the least and you’re left feeling pretty helpless, wanting to help but not knowing how.

I’m throwing up the first of the new southern bluefin tuna edition up for auction, with 100% of the proceeds going in support to the Rakei whanau. #1 of 100, custom framed in Tōwai with river Tōtara splines and AR70 anti reflective conservation art glass. RRP $1980.00

So with all our deer species now in there hard antler, and with that another roar looming! 😊
I’d just like to give everyone heads up😉on our schedule .

That we are not taking in any heads this season , due to a backlog from last year.
If you have placed a booking in, that’s fine.
We appreciate all your past support and look forward to providing you with high quality mounts in the near future .

Sorry to cause some disappointment for some that are successful.
But for us to provide quality craftsmanship and service , we need to make sure things are on schedule.

This effects everybody regardless of why you own and use fi****ms. Like and share so we can get the message out.

Submissions are now being collected for proposed changes to clubs and ranges legislation.

The Act Party campaigned on repealing Part 6 of the Arms Act entirely. For whatever reason, this has been dialed back to an amendment bill. There is no reason to dress these regulations up and keep them. Shooting clubs and ranges have never been a problem for New Zealand.

The FOUNZ team believes that this bill to amend Part 6 of the Arms Act should proceed, but should reset regulations back to where they were in 2019.

Part 2 of the Bill transfers responsibility of the Arms Act away from the Minister of Police to the Minister in Charge of the Act.
We support this and recommend it be supported in your submission.

Last weekend saw our annual national taxidermy competition held in Taupo.
Some fine craftsmanship on display.
Fairly please with the results, taking out the masters in game head division with this clients Tahr.
Sculpted on our own custom manikin.

Yesterday we had a special young hunter Kirk De Ridder and his lovely family visit the studio.
A fellow taxidermist from the South Island asked if we could help out.
Had put together a sika hunt for Kirk on Ngamatea. 👌
As one of his dream hunts was to hunt sika.
