💔 URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED – INVERCARGILL 💔 PLEASE SHARE. We are desperately looking for a safe foster home for two cats whose world has been turned upside down. Their human mum was airlifted to Christchurch hospital with a brain aneurysm and has undergone emergency surgery. Right now, everything is uncertain, and we do not know what the coming days will look like.

We have limited information about the cats, but we do know the ginger boy was abandoned around 3 months ago when his family moved away and left him behind. This lovely lady took him in, so he is understandably become quite timid with all the sudden change again. The other cat is a pure black short-haired boy who is very affectionate. We do not believe either cat is very young. They need somewhere safe, calm, and loving for them to stay during this incredibly difficult time. Everything they need will be supplied

This BOY has been let down by 3 ADOPTERS so this has to be his forever and Last home.
He's not free as we know what happens to a lot of free cats. He has a lifespan of 20 years. That means vaccinations, regular worming and fleaing, good quality food and also a Vet account for the unexpected.

Our beautiful Fluffy is becoming just a little too attached to his foster Mumma… and while she adores him, she insists the house is already overflowing with whiskers, paws, and furry little souls. ❤️

Honestly, I cannot believe this stunning boy is still waiting for his people. Fluffy was one of last year’s kittens and is now just over 12 months old — still young, playful, and with so much love left to give.

Fluffy is a stunning medium-haired tabby boy with the softest coat and the sweetest soul. He is desexed, microchipped, and vaccinated, and more than ready to begin his next chapter with a family of his very own.

This sweet boy adores cuddles, asks to be picked up, and even gives kisses on the lips. All he asks for is a full tummy, lots of love, a few treats, and a safe indoor-only home… really not much to ask for in return for the endless love he gives back.

He gets along great with other cats, is happy around big dogs and loves children — although a quieter home without tiny grabby hands and squealy voices, would make him happiest.

He may be a little shy when first settling in, but with just a few days of patience and kindness, Fluffy blossoms into the most loyal and loving best friend you could ever hope for.

Leo 2 is a bottle baby, been with his amazing foster since 2 weeks old and just wants LOVES. Lots of loves! he is great with small kids, a dog, cats he's literally an all rounder. Hes had 2 homes let him down (1 didnt even bother to come meet him) and is being desexed this week so will be ready to go this weekend coming.

We’re pleased to be partnering with the team at Vetlife Ashburton to help make dog desexing more accessible for our community.

We know that times can be tough, and for some families the cost of desexing can be a barrier. SPCA may be able to provide support options, with veterinary care provided by the Vetlife team.

📍 This programme is available for dog owners living in the Dunsandel, Methven, and Ashburton areas.

Desexing helps prevent unwanted litters and supports the long-term health and wellbeing of dogs

📅 Limited appointments are available during April–May, so we encourage anyone who may benefit from this support to get in touch.
