It's International Dog Day today guys so let's celebrate these 4 legged Best friends.

I have been blessed with some amazing dogs in my life. They have touched my soul in different ways and all had their own special personalities to win my heart ❤️

This is my boy, he's my heart in dog form. He's starting to get on in years, his face has gone white with age but I still see his puppy face in there.
Love him to bits 🤗🤗

Introducing Neville, an 18mo old long-haired black and white male cat.

Personality: smoochy and loving. Loves to be picked up and cuddled.

History: relinquished due to living in a multi-cat household and he was peeing inappropriately indoors overnight.

His ideal home: a loving home with quiet teen or adult humans.

He would love to be the only pet so he can have a stress-free place to be himself.

Health: desexed, microchipped, vaccinated (due again between 9-16th September), flea-treated and wormed.

Neville was born with a deformity of one front leg and will probably get arthritis from that earlier than usually expected for cats. This could be managed with a joint/mobility diet, supplements and keeping his weight in the normal range.

Hey peeps if you know of anyone that has an undesexed cat or kitten and need a helping hand pass this on.

This is a great assistance to helping keep down the numbers of unwanted kittens and kittens having kittens 😞

We get so many litters like these coming through the doors of our Centres every day 💔 Sick, unwanted, and struggling - and sadly, not all of them make it. While two of this litter recovered and were adopted into loving homes, one was just too sick and didn't pull through 😞

By desexing cats, we can stop unwanted litters and prevent suffering before it occurs. Our Snip 'n' Chip vouchers help cat owners get their cat desexed and microchipped for just $30 🙏

Scam's and Scammers

Who has been taken in by a scammer or nearly... taken in??

I nearly did the other day 🫣 and a fellow friend said I should post this to make people aware.

Like I am pretty vigilant about these things as through the rescue we definitely have had a few and with working in the public sector we warn customers about scams going on as well.

I saw a post about a poor kitten that was underweight and under age being given away for free. And it stole my heart so I put my hand out. They seemed very genuine the conversations I was having and very caring as well.
Then just a simple word and two here and there, was just a little ni**le in the back of my mind.

Then the next day when I was organizing a road trip 😂 🫣😍there were tell-tale signs of certain words and I knew (a) they weren't from this country and (b) that they were going to try to get money from me and there would be no baby to rescue. I kept up the conversation as I wanted to see how far it would go. Was trying for a name as well. When they offered me maine c**n kittens as well I really had to have a big laugh.
(A) Maine C**n kittens are a lot more than $100 and (b) they used pictures I had seen before about kitten scammers.

So be diligent peeps and if it seems too good to be true it probably is. 🫣
