Lost and found pigeon - porirua area.

Hello community, we have had a pet pigeon handed into us. This little critter has a ID tag that is unfortunately unknown to the pigeon racing club so we’ve been unable to find their owner this way.

If you are missing a pigeon please reach out to us to discuss further. We’d love to reunite them with their owner.

We have had a lost dog brought into us this afternoon. We would very much like to return them to their family.

Please check your back yards and ensure your pet is safely at home.

We can only share that this pet is white in colour.

If you think we may have your pet please email us a recent photo of your pet to [email protected] and call the clinic on 042379600 to discuss.

Please note we do this to ensure the pets safe return to the right owners! Do not take offence to this. ❤️

As you may be aware there is a nation wide issue for 2 degrees customers, this has affected our clinic. Our phones and emailed are currently down.

We have no eta and do apologise for the inconvenience if you have been trying to get a hold of us in the last hour.

Good evening community. We would just like to inform you unfortunately we will not have a vet on tomorrow (Saturday).

We will be open from 9:30am as usual for retail, cattery, dog wash and to help answer any concerns you may have regarding your pets. 🐾💗

Our sister clinics Kapiti, Wainuiomata, Johnsonville and kilbirnie will be open should you require urgent veterinary care. Our Kilbirnie team are also operating out of our Johnsonville branch.

**LOST TORTOISE FOUND**
A tortoise has been found in the Titahi bay area. Please check your enclosures for your pets and contact us if yours has gone missing. We are in contact with the Wellington Amphibian Reptile rescue.
Please note due to the price these pets are sold at and the specific husbandry and care requirements when owning these pets proof ownership will be requested.

UPDATE #2

The internet outage across parts of Porirua is still affecting our clinic.

We are able to receive phone calls as we have a diversion in place. ☺️ But please continue to be patient with us as we’ll only have one phone line instead of our usual two.

We will have access to our emails but we may be a bit slower to respond. We’ll do our best to continue to respond same day.

Did you know oral disease has become a top health problem for dogs? 🐶🦷

Here are our top tips for preventing dental problems and keeping your canine’s smile in tip-top form:

✅ A nutritious diet
✅ Chew treats can help remove plaque and provide stimulation for the gums.
❌ Watch out for wood – throwing sticks to dogs or letting your dog pick up a piece of wood can result in splinters and gum damage.
❌ Don’t let your pet chew on hard materials like stones or even some types of bones. They can wear down and even break teeth, damage gums, and lead to infection.
