WOW! July has whipped by! Final few days to donate to ACK as “rescue of the month” at Pet.kiwi.

I still have 16 kittens in care - and we’re battling an outbreak of cat flu which means rehoming is paused and vet bills are high!

“Donate a vaccine” is my number one Wishlist item! Of course I’m super grateful for ANYTHING! 🐾

SOME OF THE KITTENS SEEKING THEIR FOREVER HOMES 🐾

Please read the below 👇 and my pinned adoption post.

Adoption fee is $250 per kitten.

All kittens are based in Ponsonby.

All kittens are DESEXED, microchipped and vaccinated.

All kittens are litter box trained and raised exclusively on raw food (from Raw Essentials - Raw Food For Cats & Dogs).

All kittens must leave my care in a secure cat carrier.

All kittens must be contained indoors for at least 4-6 weeks post adoption. Some may need less time, some may need more.

Some kittens are shy, so patience when meeting is required. The kittens come out of their shells very quickly once adopted (families who adopted shy kittens last week can attest to this!)

CAT NEUTER CLINIC - SUNDAY 16TH AUGUST!

- Only applicable to MALE cats over 4 months old.
- Cats must have 2 descended testicles.
- Must sign up in clinic to register for the event.
- Pain relief will be supplied within the $10 cost.
- Cats must be fasted from 9pm the night before.
- Cats must be healthy at the time of the surgery.
- Post-operative care will be given on discharge.

Let's chop these nuts off! 🥜

** FERGIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED **

Introducing “Fergie” …

The smallest and quietest from her litter of 5, Fergie is a very sweet and shy little black short hair female.

I have tried to explain to Fergie that being shy isn’t how you get a home, but she in her usual Fergie fashion, knows the right home is out there for her.

Fergie would be ok with another cat or cats and a cat-savvy dog. Young children might not be the best fit for her, although she is very gentle with her play.

Fergie is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

ADOPTION DAY this Saturday 27 June from 10am - 12pm* at Pet.kiwi.

If you are READY to adopt, this is the day for you. I am not sure which kittens will be up for adoption yet (just depends on health, and their mood on the day) but there should be at least 10 cuties for adoption - maybe more (I do have 34 kittens in care at the moment).

If you are READY to adopt, take the time to have a read of my pinned post as this should cover off all the information you need - and of course I'll have a few more questions on the day too.

Please bring a secure cat carrier with you, or you can purchase one from the Pet.Kiwi team on the day.

Adoption fee ($250) can be paid in cash or via bank transfer.

*if all kittens are adopted prior to 12pm we will leave early.

Lily came into the care of ACK when she was just 2 weeks old. She was adopted by an older lady who then returned her a few days later due to her high energy. A family adopted her a week or two later however sadly they have decided to move to Australia and not take Lily with them.

As Lily was a huge part of ACK and I remember her fondly I have agreed to post her up for adoption on my page.

Unfortunately with 40 kittens in care and none of Lily’s age I simply can’t take her back into care as I just don’t have the space! I truly wish I could because she was very special to me 🧡

When Lily was with me, she was incredibly friendly, cuddly and great with other cats and dogs and with kids so I can only assume all that remains the same!

If you’re interested in adopting Lily who is around 7 months old now; please DM the page and I will put you in touch with her current owners.
