🚥 Flash, Lucky & Oscar 🚥
This month marks our 27th Pet of the Month, and the time has finally come to introduce three very special boys belonging to one of our oldest customers!
Meet the three Jack Russell doggies — Flash, Lucky, and Oscar 🌟
Each of them is completely different in both appearance and personality, which makes them such a fun trio to have around.
These boys have mainly been daycare guests with us over the years, and they still make the long trip even after we stopped our Hawera pick-up service (thanks to our van breaking down 😅).
But these boys aren’t just companions — they actually have important jobs!
They work at a berry farm, helping chase away birds to protect the products, and then spend their days off here playing with their doggy friends 🫶
The biggest boy, Lucky, is turning 8 this year and is the cruisy, calm mediator of the trio. He absolutely adores his younger brothers.
Flash and Oscar are both around 2 years old. Flash is the most energetic and feisty of them all, and loves dipping in the water whenever he gets the chance.
Oscar, on the other hand, is the cuddly baby of the group — a mellow boy who loves sunbathing and relaxing.
All three are incredibly social and play beautifully with dogs of all sizes, which means they almost always end up in the biggest play group each visit.
Flash loves finding another high-energy pup or two to zoom around with, Lucky enjoys saying hello to everyone and hanging around the group, while Oscar is often happy doing his own thing — though he’ll gladly follow his brothers along when the fun gets exciting.
We also have to mention their obsession with balls 🎾
The second they spot one, absolutely everything else stops — they must chase it! (It also makes taking group photos very easy 😂)
Although they usually aren’t very barky dogs, they become instantly vocal as soon as a ball appears, and from time to time a bit of sibling rivalry sneaks in from all the excitement.
These boys are an essential part of our Tuesday squad, and we absolutely love the energy they bring each week.
Thank you so much to their pawrents for continuing to make the trips work despite the inconvenience. We love knowing that their fun time here is important to you too.
