We currently have over 90 tanks in the shop. All our tanks are fully landscaped with shelters and hiding spots. We try to make them as natural and as close to their home environment to help reduce stress for the fish. All you fish keepers out there will appreciate how much work goes into maintaining so many tanks!
We are only human and don’t get everything perfect all the time, but we must be doing something right — we seem to be having a lot of babies in lots of our tanks. This only happens when fish are happy in their environment and the water quality is stable.

Did you know.... guinea pigs are unable to produce vitamin C and therefore require a diet rich in this essential nutrient to maintain their health, strength, and prevent scurvy? Our guineas just looove their oranges 🍊 😍

We are deeply grateful for our amazing vets who take the time to come into the shop and ensure the animals are thriving. We have a very busy morning today. With puppies to health check and vaccinate. First up our gorgeous pure bichon pups who passed with flying colours🤩

We welcomed some delightful little pups yesterday. When they arrived, each one received a basic health check, and was weighed and wormed as part of our usual routine. We record all their weights on our puppy feeding sheets. This helps us keep track of how they are eating, when their next worming is due, and how they are doing overall. We also weigh them every week to make sure they are growing well and staying happy and healthy

What a beautiful day. While we're all basking in the sunshine let's not forget to make sure our furry friends have a shady spot and fresh water. Another really useful tip is to give them frozen water bottles to help cool them down. Even our pure bichon pups are having a great sleep after their big play this morning
