An update on tomorrow.
The weather looks like it’s clearing up over night. So it’s all good for tomorrow at this stage.
Parking is in the paddock across the road from the bmx track. Please don’t park on the roadside (marked in red) next to the track, that is for gazebos and viewing. A gold coin for parking would be much appreciated as it goes towards keeping our little club going. Please take care crossing the road.

So with daylight savings finishing, we have decided that tonight will be our last club night until after winter. So sign in from 5.30pm, with races and fun starting at 6 🙌 be ready for our lolly scramble too 👌👌

On behalf of our Nationals BMX Team and families. We thank you (below) all for making this happen for them. Your help has been huge in getting our riders to Invercargill to race in the 2025 BMX NZ National Titles.

They rode their hearts out and left nothing in the tank. Plenty of good memories made along with new bmx buddies. It was an experience they will never forget.

A big thank you to the Southland BMX Club, BMX New Zealand & all the volunteers for putting on a great event.

What a week our team had away in Invercargill for the Nationals last week. A few of our team travelled early for the Pre Nats, with the rest of the team travelling down in time for Nationals. Everyone gave it their all and rode their hearts out with some tough competition. We are so proud of all their efforts.

Meila rode well in the sprockets.
Cruize finished 16th for 8 year old boys
Grace finished 13th for 10 year old girls
Ellyse finished 11th for 12 year old girls
Scott finished 21st in 13 year old boys
Cooper finished 21st in 14 year old boys
Marcus finished 22nd in 14 year old boys
Travis finished 18th in 14 year old boys, plus he also finished in 6th in the 13-14 year old boys cruiser
And Lachlan finished 14th in the 15 year old boys

What a night! Lapathon done!

Thank you to everyone who turned out and made it a great night.

We didn't beat 39 laps but Marcus pumped out a mighty 38 to top the table this year.

Plus we had 9 others in the 30s with him and 16 in the 20s. That is an amazing effort guys I bet there are some tired kids today.

Don’t forget lapathon is on tonight! Sign in at 5.30, we will start our laps at 6. Riding for 1 hour to see how many laps we can do. It will be all hands on deck tonight so please come see us for a job, there is lots we need help with tonight. And we will have a free sausage sizzle for our riders afterwards too 🙌
