Tomorrow one runner heads to Woodville, DOJAKATA steps out in the Rating 65 2200 Amateur race with Lucy Klee aboard who is fresh of her first victory in the saddle. “Pat” will be ridden more to her pattern this start and settle early and hopefully she shows her usual grit to run home strong.

At New Plymouth on Saturday and we have one runner in the last race of the day, KIT ZAKAT who will be stepping up to rating 65 grade when she lines up in the Steel & Tube 1800m. She was super last start and with an economical run she should be right there in the finish going off her work and will have the services of the very in form Hayley Hassman.

The one runner for the stable heads to WTR at Cambridge Racecourse tomorrow. JASPER will line up on the synthetic in Race 7 over 1550m.

Jasper starts from barrier 5 and has the services of Joe Nishizuka. He is bright and well and this is more of a test to see how he will handle better tracks in the future.

Three starters tomorrow for the stable at New Plymouth Raceway

Kicking off the day in Race 1, KIT ZAKAT has her first time over extra distance when she lines up in the Seaton Park 1800m Maiden. Kitkat’s first time at the mile last start she was finding the line well and has drawn well for a change with Jimmy Chung onboard.

Race 4: DOJAKATA lines up in the Hi Yo’s Legacy Rating 65 2000m. “Pat” has been racing very well lately, with this race fitting in with future targets, she should be hitting the line well with Courtney Barnes to ride.

Race 7: CHARM ZAFARM lines up from barrier 1 in the final race of the day with Hayley Hassman on top. “Chocco” has been a little disappointing this prep but she drops in grade and the track should suit.

Egmont Racing Club tomorrow where we have the one runner for the stable lining up in Race 1 Egmont Racing Club 144 Years Old Maiden 1600m.

KIT ZAKAT has been going solid races without much luck of late. Kitkat steps up to the 1600m with Elen Nicholas to ride and should be thereabouts in the finish if she gets an untroubled run in the race.

The stable kicks off the new racing season with two runners at Wanganui Jockey Club tomorrow.

🏇In Race 4, JASPER will line up in the La Nuova Dry Cleaners Maiden 1600m. He was pleasing at his last start and has trained on well. Jasper will be aided by in form rider Lisa Allpress this time.

🏇In Race 6, DOJAKATA who also started at Waverley last week and was strong to the line steps back up to her favourite distance in the Jolt Coffee House 2060m and has Leah Hemi back on board.

Going off their last start efforts they should be thereabouts in the finish!

Ōtaki-Māori Racing Club today where the stable has two runners.

🏇 Race 3: CHARM ZAFARM lines up in the Intowin Handicap Rating 75 1400m. Whilst dropping back in distance a loose wet track would be ideal to see “Chocco” come back into form.

🏇 the last of the day SUMMER BREEZE is looking for the extra ground and will line up in the Vets On Riverbank Rating 65 2100m. Lily’s work has been super since last start so fingers crossed for all involved she will be hitting the line hard.

A good day at Waverley yesterday!

JASPER really pleased with his run into third and DOJAKATA was strong through the line for fourth and will go up to her preferred distance of 2000m soon.

Thank you to George and Leah who took the trainers instructions as unorthodox as they were and rode perfect races to get them to the outside from tricky inside draws.

Two of the team head to Waverley Racing Club today.

🏇Race 7: Anthony Bell - Agronomy 1650m Maiden, JASPER lines up from a handy draw and we hope to ride him forward today with George Rooke in the saddle.

🏇Race 8: Dunstan Horse Feed Rating 65 1650m, DOJAKATA lines up from barrier 2 with Leah Hemi to ride. "Pat" is getting back up in distance and she's trained on well from Wellington.

A wee mention goes to the team at Aaron Purcell Enjoy Racing for the care and effort with SIDE PIECE who won at Warrnambool Racing Club last night. Simon has done the Hina Racing stable proud since he crossed the ditch this time last year, now with three wins in Australia. Congratulations to connections! We love following Simon's progress and are privileged to remain involved. It's fitting we are racing at Waverley today as this is the track where Simon won his first race for Taffy.
