We love bunnies & Guineas at Central Hutt Vets 🐇🩷 So we included a dedicated ‘exotics’ ward for them in our new clinic design - because prey species don’t enjoy being in with cats and dogs, especially when they are not feeling well! We use best-practice methods and offer de-sexing and dentistry for most small mammal species, rabbit vaccinations, and care for sick pets (e.g. gut stasis). We also grow our own grass & parseley especially for our patients 🌱🍃😊

Duties include making bookings, taking payments, chatting with clients, and admiring the cute kittens & puppies 😊 There is some light cleaning required as well. Beautiful Gretel had a problem with her tail and needed an anaesthetic. At 69kg, she is one of our larger patients, but no sweat for us to deal with using our human-rated hospital table! Here in the Hutt valley many of our clients tend have larger dogs, and we designed our new facilities with them in mind. Gretel is doing great after her procedure 🩷
