DogsNZ registered breeder of quality border collies. Penteronda Kennel is a small breeding kennel in the Okuku, Loburn, North Canterbury, New Zealand.

Most importantly, our fur-kids are members of our family. We aim for all our dogs having exceptional temperament and structure, as well as being eager and willing to learn. Our Border Collie breeding stock are DNA tested for CEA, CL and TNS , which guarantees none of our puppies will ever develop any of these awful diseases. We spend time learning as much as possible about each Sire and Dam prior to making a breeding decision, and we are very fussy about which homes our pups go to. This helps protect our lovely breed from unregistered 'backyard kennels' breeding unregistered dogs. Don’t let this put you off getting in touch – we just want people to know we take our breeding seriously. All of our pups are part of the family and we enjoy getting updates from their new homes. We will always have their well-being in mind, even when they’ve gone to their new loving family. We look forward to hearing from you.

🤣🐾 MS WILLOW vs MS STELLA – THE BATTLE OF THE HEAVYWEIGHTS! 🥊😂

Poor Ms Willow has discovered that playing with Ms Stella comes with a slight disadvantage… Ms Stella has a little tooooo much enthusiasm, a LOT more weight, and apparently NO idea of her own strength! 🤣💪🐶

But don't underestimate Ms Willow! She's got brains where Ms Stella's got brawn! 🧠😂

She's cleverly claimed the space under the couch as her official tactical headquarters! 🛋️🤣

From there, she can launch surprise attacks, nip at Ms Stella's toes, and retreat to safety before the furry bulldozer comes charging through! 🚜💨😂

Ms Stella: "COME OUT AND FIGHT ME!" 💪

Ms Willow: "NOT A CHANCE, YOU OVERSIZED WRECKING BALL! I'VE GOT HOME GROUND ADVANTAGE!" 🤣🤣

Who needs to be bigger when you've got better battle strategies?! 😂🐾❤️

Willow 1 – Stella 0! 🏆🤣

🧛‍♀️🐾 Ms Stella, Countess Draculina has entered the building! 🦇😂

Don't let the fluffy face fool you… those tiny fangs are deadly, and she's out for blood (or ankles, toes, fingers… she's not fussy!). 🤣

By day, an innocent little angel. 😇
By night, a four-legged vampire with absolutely no remorse! 🧛‍♀️🐶

Send garlic, holy water… and more chew toys! 😂🖤🤍

‼️ Guess what day it is today ‼️

That’s right… Final VET check day! 😁🐾
We’re so proud to share that all pups passed with flying colours ✔️✔️

They handled everything like little champs and took it all in their stride 💕 Not one pup got motion sickness either👏👏

And of course… Mr Wakatipu aka Mr Teddy was the CHUBSTER of the bunch, this kid SURE loves his food👌🙈🤣🤣

Thanks so much Ben and team from Pegasus Bay Vets 🤗🥰

🐾 Puppy Update 🐾

Aunty Ms Flick has been called in for babysitting duties while the hoomans clean our area. 🧹🐶💕

She’s doing a very important job keeping a close eye on all the little ones… although we’re not sure who is enjoying it more! 😂🥰

Nothing quite like having Aunty Flick around for cuddles, supervision and a little puppy chaos. 🐾❤️

Unsupervised for FIVE minutes… 🤦‍♀️😂

And just look at the state of this kid! Apparently, five minutes is more than enough time to locate the mud, get completely amongst it, and then come back looking ridiculously pleased with yourself🙈🤣😂🐾

Zero regrets. Would absolutely do it again🤣🖤🤍

❄️🐾 Ms Stella’s First Snow Day! 🐾❄️

Well, Ms Stella has had an absolutely fabulous first snow day! ❤️☃️ There was so much to explore, sniff and play in… but the BEST discovery was that her favourite digging hole had filled up with water! 😂💦

Apparently a muddy, watery digging hole + snow = Border Collie heaven! 🤣🐾 She had an absolute blast splashing, digging and getting thoroughly filthy.

The fun did come to an abrupt end though when hooman decided it was time to come inside… Ms Stella was definitely NOT impressed with the towel-drying part! 😂❤️
