Today’s Chaos: Bear became a dolphin 🐬 that showered poor Kaia with water inside😂. Junior was really feeling the spotlight and smiling for every picture 😍 Atlas, Poppy, Rosie and Phoebe had a barking competition and Lexi, Pixie, Frankie and George surprised us all by sleeping most of the day away (the sarcasm is there, I promise 😂)

🐾 Happy 4th Birthday to our favourite Pocket Rocket! 🚀
To be honest with you, I came into work today with no idea it was a very special day… however as soon as I got past the gate in the bay, Rocket launched (pun intended) at me with the most excited grin on his face! “ITS MY BIRTHDAY!” Is practically what he was saying and that it was! 🎊
Thank you so much for bringing in some special treaties Rockets people! Sausage rolls were absolutely smashed down by all Rockets friends!
We hope you had a magical boy, happy boy! We love you Rockey! 🎉

Something pretty cool about being your dogs’ home away from home is the excitement when realising that you are the “favourite” or when a shy pup becomes a super snuggle bug with us after a journey of trust building. My favourite memory with being an Hamilton Hounds handler is the first time (now one of a few!)I was bowled down at the Waikato river on a walk with my own dogs to realise it was a very happy but usually shy daycare dog that had recognised me! So in that regard, thank you ALL for extending your constant trust and support to us dog handlers while we care for your much loved family members every day.🩷

Baby boy (not so baby anymore) Bosco celebrated the big FIVE by boosting into daycare today. We love seeing Bosco bust open the Red door in the morning to help himself into the bay to see all his buddies and hog the swimming pools 😂 With lots of licks and even more personality, Bosco wins everyone hearts over easily. 🩷
