Luna, looking pretty pleased with herself. 💕

I’ve been grooming Luna since I was just starting out on my grooming journey, so we’ve grown up together in a way.

There’s something really special about this girl. I can’t quite explain it, but seeing her always makes me smile, and I like to think she feels the same when she sees me.

I’ve also done some house and dog sitting for her, so we’ve gotten to know each other well over the years. These days, I don’t even have to ask her to hop onto the grooming table, she happily jumps up all by herself, ready for her pamper session.

Not every day is easy, but moments like this remind me just how lucky I am to do something I truly love. ❤️

My wee Pippa came with me to the salon today. A lot of you have probably met this little darling! 🐾

Pippa is a Phalène, also known as the drop-eared variety of the Papillon. The Papillon is one of the oldest toy dog breeds and belongs to the spaniel family, famous for its beautiful, wing-shaped ears. Its name comes from the French word for butterfly.

When a Papillon’s ears stand upright, they’re called a Papillon. When the ears drop, like Pippa’s, they’re called a Phalène, which is the French word for moth. 🦋

She’s a tiny dog with a big personality, and I always love having her by my side at the salon. ❤️🐾

When you next meet her at the salon, you’ll be greeted with a small bark followed with lots of cuddles. 🥰

Bruno is full of personality, cuddles, and touch of mischief. He loves meeting new furry friends, supervising grooms, and making himself right at home in the salon. If you visit us, don’t be surprised if he’s nearby asking for pats or showing off his fresh fluffy coat! 🐾

He’s a special part of My Dog Groomer and Dave & Andy, and we couldn’t imagine the salon without him 🤍
