🐶 CALL FOR FEMALE PUPPY BLOOD SAMPLES 🩸

TCI GlenBred is helping support development of a new hormone test for female dogs, similar to the NeuterReady test currently available for males https://neuterready.com/

Researchers are currently looking for blood samples from female puppies to help build an initial population data set for this exciting project. Samples will contribute towards development and validation of the test through the University of Otago ethics process.

✅ No cost to participating clients
✅ Samples to be collected by a veterinary professional
✅ Breed and age of puppy required (individual dog identification not needed)

This has been a MASSIVE amount of work, that I’m pretty chuffed to say I had a rather large part of (with my NZVA CAV hat on!)

Big news - NZVA's new Dog and Cat Sterilisation Guidelines are officially live! ✂️🐾

This has been a huge collaborative effort, bringing together evidence-based recommendations, practical guidance, and plenty of thoughtful discussion along the way. A massive thank you to everyone involved in getting this across the finish line.
