Happy Friday from all of us at Doggy Bed & Biscuit!

We’re so excited to share next month’s enrichment calendar with you soon… and yes, Mid-Winter Christmas is making a return! 🎄❄️ We can’t wait for all the festive fun, games, treats, and adorable photos. Winter can sometimes feel a little dull, but we’re lucky enough to spend every day with some of the funniest, cutest, and happiest dogs around. Watching friendships blossom, confidence grow, and dogs truly enjoy their daycare days is what makes us love what we do, and we love being able to share those moments with our Furamilies. 🫶🏼

❤️ Today was National Bandana Day, so of course we couldn’t resist bringing out the bandana box! Every pup looked incredibly dashing in their colourful bandanas, all while helping raise awareness for an amazing cause. 🐾 We also welcomed a very special little visitor today… Ruby! Ruby is a gorgeous Red Fox Labrador puppy who came to visit before officially joining us next week. She has lots of enthusiasm, curiosity, and puppy energy, and we’re so excited to help her learn appropriate play, build confidence, and make lots of new friends. Welcome to the Doggy Bed & Biscuit family, Ruby! 🥹💕

✨ Our group changes have continued to go really well this week, and we’re loving seeing new friendships form as dogs build confidence in different groups. It’s been wonderful watching everyone settle in and discover some new favourite playmates.

🌧️ The rain certainly gave us a run for our money this week… especially our poor driveway! 😢 Fingers crossed the sunshine forecast for next week arrives as promised, we’re definitely ready for some brighter days! ☀️

Thursday was a good one! We mixed things up with some fun games today, including Guess the Dog, Seeing who could complete their enrichment fastest, dogs that had purple on and many many more! Safe to say the pups had such a fun time 💛😃

Wet Wednesday at Doggy Bed & Biscuit!

Our Wednesday dogs had two new faces today with Luna a Staffy cross officially joining the Bee’s crew after her trial day, settling in and making some friends! Even some old friends she knew before day, how sweet! 🥰

Nea had her first visit to the Outgoing Otters today, with some guidance she settled into the new environment and made a couple of friends too!

With the wet weather most pups were ready to snuggle on the couch after morning introductions and an enrichment activity, but as we know the rain doesn’t hold us all back and play and games still continued for some!

Juniper our youngest retriever puppy absolutely loved the rainy day and playing in puddles!

The hedgehogs really enjoyed some time sunbathing in the playground today 🤩
Everyone was an enrichment pro today having fun treat hunting! Especially Baxter & Parker!
We hid biscuits under cones, making it harder with toilet paper rolls for the doggos who are so clever!

Sniffing out where the treat is uses problem solving and sniffing work for the dogs, a fun game to keep them busy and challenge the brain!
As always we loved our Friday with our dogs!

17.06.26 Happy Hump Day from Doggy Bed & Biscuit!

Some of our new groups are really starting to gel, and we’re loving watching new friendships develop! 🐾 It’s been so much fun mixing things up, seeing different dogs connect, and discovering some wonderful new bonds along the way.

For enrichment today, we treated the pups to yoghurt lick mats and they were a huge hit with almost everyone! 🤩 Paddy was particularly enthusiastic and somehow managed to get yoghurt all over his nose, which gave us all a good laugh. 🥰

🐒 The Monkeys also had a special toy room experience today! We filled a room with toys and gave each dog a turn to explore, sniff, and play at their own pace. It was such a success watching everyone investigate, make their choices, and enjoy some one-on-one enrichment time. We loved it!

We’re having so much fun experimenting with different group combinations and finding the best friendships and playmates for everyone. Thank you for bearing with us if your pup has been moved around a little this week while we fine-tune our groups. The dogs are doing an amazing job adapting and we’re seeing some lovely results already. 💕
