Mars is a beautiful, fun loving boy who just wants to excitedly greet everyone, all visitors, passers by and the cats.
We helped him learn new skills that helped him learn to offer a new hello to people, we practiced calm feelings along with the cat, and also helped him learn to relax when people in the house relax so he can hang out with them more. Part of his journey included meeting his needs so he could engage more calmly as well as cope better when he was alone.

At Pawfect Pet our play times aren't a free for all. Puppies are selected to match with a playmate from observations during the classes, sometimes with an unlikely playmate!
Their play times are set up so they play one on one, with their body language and communication explained as they go.
Play time is set up for success for both the players and the puppies watching on the side lines. These interactions are closely observed to ensure everyone is listened to, bringing some out of their shells, and showing how they interact with their next playmate in different ways.
Play is only part of your puppy's socialisation, but it is important they aren't learning that these interactions are stressful or overwhelming.
This is why it is important having a puppy class instructor that is qualified in animal behaviour and uses positive reinforcement techniques as your puppy moves through this formative time of their lives.

Odie is a fun loving and energetic teenager. To make his walks calmer for his mum, but still meeting his needs we added in some new walking activities. By adding in some brain work, some enriching sniffing, and predictability using their loving bond they had with each other already
