A great win on Saturday by this quality mare. Very happy to have the half sister in work now with us

Last year’s Gr.1 New Zealand Oaks (2400m) winner Pulchritudinous (NZ) (Wrote) landed her first blow across the Tasman with a gritty victory in the Gr.3 Magic Millions Fillies & Mares Mile (1600m) at Doomben on Saturday for trainers G*i Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.

Bred by Milan Park Stud 's Tony Rider, Pulchritudinous was purchased by Riverrock Farm 's Chad Ormsby at New Zealand Bloodstock's National Yearling Sale for $32,500. After her New Zealand Oaks victory, Pulchritudinous was sold privately in a deal brokered by bloodstock agent Phill Cataldo in conjunction with the Waterhouse-Bott team.

We are heading the short trip up the Auckland motorway today and racing at Headquarters, the Big E - Ellerslie. With four in today it sure will be a busy and hopefully good day for our stable.

☆ Race 2 sees Tainted Love step out with Wiremu Pinn on board over the 1200m trip. A nice little filly by Derryn who is tough and honest and will be trying hard.

☆ Race 4 has So Explosive take her place in this Maiden 1400m event with Tayla Mitchell on board. A nice Filly with ability but she'll need lady luck on her side today from the wide draw. But certainly one to follow

☆ Race 8 will have the old stable stalwart line up, Rochmie Ray over the 1400m trip with Tayla Mitchell doing the riding.

☆ Race 10 sees Burgundy Iff (pictured) take her place in the R65 1600m Race with Warren Kennedy on board. A quality mare who has taken a couple of runs back this preparation after 12 months off the scene. A tough and genuine mare who'll make her presence felt today.

Yesterday's win by 'Annie Oakley' was special in the fact that it had been 30 years since Tayla Mitchell's mother Tarissa Macdonald rode winners for our stable, including Denise's very first winner one her own training account. It is awesome to see Tayla making her own mark in the Jockey ranks and having so much success this season.

Thank you to everyone for all the lovely messages, calls and texts. Very much appreciated
