🦏 Save the Rhino Day 2025
On the occasion of Save the Rhino Day, we reflect on the critical need to protect and conserve one of the planet’s most iconic and endangered species—the rhinoceros.

Rhinos are keystone species that help maintain the structure of their ecosystems. Yet, due to rampant poaching and habitat loss, their populations continue to decline at an alarming rate. If immediate and sustained efforts are not made, we risk losing these magnificent creatures forever.

This day serves as a reminder for all to raise awareness, support conservation initiatives, and advocate for stronger wildlife protection policies. Preserving rhinos is not just about saving a species—it is about maintaining ecological balance and protecting our planet’s biodiversity.

This program wasn’t just about procedures—it was about compassionate action. It was about safeguarding lives, reducing suffering, and nurturing a healthier environment where animals and humans coexist in harmony.

We extend heartfelt thanks to our veterinary professionals, student volunteers, local authorities, and community members who came together to make this mission a reality.

On this World Parasite Awareness Day, IVSA Paklihawa sheds light on the significant impact parasites have on animal and human health. Parasitic infections can lead to severe diseases, economic losses in livestock production, and even zoonotic threats to public health.

Raising awareness about proper deworming, hygiene, vector control, and responsible use of antiparasitic treatments is crucial in preventing parasitic diseases. Collaboration between veterinarians, healthcare professionals, and communities is essential to mitigate the risks posed by parasites.

Let’s work together to promote better parasite control strategies and safeguard both animal and human health.
