The Old Oak K9

Today I participated in the Brabant Championship basic tracking dogs KNPV, at DOS in Reek, with Happy of the Old Oak. The weather was great and it was very exciting until the end because many combinations were very close to each other.

Happy continues a beautiful family tradition!! In 2015 I won the Brabant Championship (211/215 points) with Happy's grandmother, Beau of the Old Oak, in 2017 and 2018 Happy's mother, Britt of the Old Oak, did it again with (212/215) and (215/215) the full number of points to be achieved.

Today the little one thought it was time to measure herself against her two family members. 214 points out of 215 points, a very nice result with which she can call herself Brabant Champion for a year. As always the competition was very well organised by the members of DOS Reek. Thanks to the judges and helpers who made this beautiful day possible through their efforts.

A special day to be at the National Tracking Championship KNPV 2025 on Schouwen-Duiveland next Saturday with three dogs bred by us.
Danny van Lamoen with "Duco" of the Old Oak, Peter Markus with "Kyra" of the Old Oak and myself with "Happy" of the Old Oak.
We wish all participants success and hope for a beautiful and sporty tracking dog competition!
