The donations have been successfully delivered to the Papamaci Árvái /Öregkutyák shelter in Hungary!
We hope we could contribute a little to the well-being of the dogs and bring them some joy as well.

A big thank you to Europe’s (or maybe the world’s) best delivery, Pantomas, for the fast handover! 🚛

We wish all the dogs a speedy adoption into loving homes! 🐾

Once again, we would like to express our huge thanks to our supporters for their quick reaction and for always being there when needed 🙏🏻🥰

If you have any dog-related equipment, food, or supplies that you no longer need and would like to donate, please send them to us! There is always a shelter where they are needed the most. 📦

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the shipping costs 🥰🙏🏻
We actually received even more than we needed, which allowed us to purchase anti-tick tablets and deworming pills—both are also greatly needed at the shelter.

A special thanks also goes to Animalis for their donations and for providing canned food as well!

The package is expected to arrive this week, and we will keep you updated!

HELP to deliver food for shelter dogs! 🚛

You might remember the Papamaci Árvái /Öregkutyák dog shelter we delivered your donations to in Hungary before Christmas.

A few weeks ago, we saw a post from them saying they are currently facing a shortage of dog food and are asking for help.

Over the past year, we’ve been selling high quality dog food, and we still have a significant amount left in stock that we can’t able to sell anymore. So we decided to donate it to them.

Since this is quite a large and heavy shipment, the transportation cost is €300 — and we would love to ask for your support to help cover this. 💸

The shipment will be sent to Hungary on June 14, and just like before, we will be following its journey until it arrives.

Since yesterday, everyone has been talking about the poor condition of Almeerderstrand after several dogs became sick and two died at Muiderberg the same day after a swim.

As we have organized a swimming lesson for next weekend, on June 13, we keep following updates from the relevant authorities regarding the water quality. We hope that it will soon become clear what is causing the poor water conditions and that access to the water will be permitted again.

Therefore, the swimming session will only take place if the gemeente, zwemwater.nl, or Rijkswaterstaat officially declare the water safe again.

🚨 Zwemverbod Almeerderstrand

Sinds gisteravond 2 juni geldt er een zwemverbod bij het Almeerderstrand.

Aanleiding is het overlijden van een hond en twee andere honden die onwel zijn geworden na zwemmen bij (het hondengedeelte van) het Almeerderstrand. De oorzaak hiervan is nog niet bekend. De Omgevingsdienst Flevoland & Gooi en Vechtstreek onderzoekt het water.
