As we conclude the 2023/2024 academic session at Albayan Islamic Secondary School, Jos, we are filled with pride and gratitude to Allah (S.W.A) for the remarkable achievements of our students and the dedication of our staff. This year, we not only witnessed outstanding academic success but also had the joy of celebrating the graduation of our Class of 2024. Our students have excelled academically, with many achieving exceptional results in their exams. Their hard work and commitment to their studies have truly paid off, setting a high standard for future success. We are especially proud of our 2024 graduates, who have completed their journey at Albayan with distinction, ready to embark on new and exciting chapters in their lives.
Beyond academics, our students showcased their talents in a wide range of extracurricular activities. This year, they participated in Qur’anic and Hadith Recitation competitions, English and Arabic Debates, Spelling Competitions, Essay Writing, Quiz Competitions, and JET Exhibitions. The energy and enthusiasm displayed in these events were nothing short of inspiring. This session also saw the successful implementation of several new initiatives designed to equip our students with the essential skills and values they need to thrive both in school and in their future endeavors. The success of these programs is evident in the accomplishments of our students, particularly our graduates, who leave us with a strong foundation for success in all areas of life.

It is truly heartwarming to see the joyful smiles and the meaningful handshakes between our esteemed dignitaries and this year's graduates. This celebration marks the culmination of years of dedication, hard work, and learning. The bright futures of these graduates are built upon the strong foundation of Islamic education and guidance provided by Albayan Secondary School. We share in the happiness of all the graduates and their families as they reach this significant milestone. As the Class of 2023 embarks on the next chapter of their lives, we wish them every success. The Albayan Islamic Secondary School Jos wishes to inform the general public that it has opened a new branch in Bauchi state. This branch is located on Jos Road, opposite Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic.
Applications are invited for the following programs:
• Albayan Nursery and Primary
• Albayan Science secondary school (DAY AND BOARDING)
• Albayan Arabic and Islamic secondary school (DAY AND BOARDING)
Application forms are available from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm.
The entrance examinations for all applicants will take place on 9th September, 2023

Educational tours are essential for the overall development of students because they provide opportunities to learn from both personal and shared experiences. At Albayan, we believe that students learn best by doing, so we make sure to expose them to as many different experiences as possible.
In January, this year, we took our students on an excursion to various places in and Around Plateau state, including the Veterinary Research Institute Vom, the National Metallurgical Development Center (NMDC), Nasco Food, Nasco Household, the Plateau State Water Board Treatment Plant, the National Library, NTA, PRTV, Naraguta Leather Works, Sharna Farms, NDLEA Headquarter, plateau state high Court, federal High Court, the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, the Transmission Company of Nigeria, and the Wildlife Park.
These students were able to see, touch, feel, and smell the actual things that they had only read about in textbooks. They came back more fulfilled and full of practical knowledge. We are committed to providing our students with the best possible education, and we believe that educational tours are an essential part of that. We will continue to organize educational tours for our students so that they can learn and grow in a meaningful way.

In the academic realm, many students performed extremely well, with some achieving top scores in their exams. They also participated in a variety of extracurricular activities, including Qur`anic and Hadith Recitation, English and Arabic Debate, English and Arabic Passage Reading, Pronunciation, Spelling Competition, Essay Writing Competition, Quiz, JET Exhibitions, as well as Impromptu speech. In addition to our academic programs, we have also implemented a number of new initiatives, such as our STEM program and our character education program. These programs are designed to help students develop the skills and qualities they need to succeed in school and in life.
We are proud of the hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and parents. Together, we have created a school that is a place of learning, growth, and success. As we look ahead to the next academic session, we are confident that we will continue to build on our successes and achieve even greater things.
