Let me ask you two simple questions.

When you enter your farm, what is the first thing you do?

Now, another question is, when God blesses you with an increase, a good harvest, a successful season, or abundant produce, what is the first thing you do?

One principle many farmers overlook is thanksgiving.

We get so busy planning the next planting season that we forget to appreciate the One who gave the increase.

Think about it.

If you gave someone a gift and they never said, "Thank you," how would you feel?

You would probably think they didn't value your kindness.

As farmers, we sow, we w**d, we water, but God gives the increase.

This is why, in my Backyard Farming Bootcamp, I teach more than how to plant vegetables.

I teach principles, discipline, stewardship, and values that shape not just better farmers, but better people.

Many of my students will tell you that they didn't just learn how to grow crops, they developed a different mindset.

Registration for the Backyard Farming Bootcamp (July–September, Planting Season 2) is still ongoing.

This is your opportunity to learn how to grow your own food with confidence instead of planting blindly.

The current fee is ₦10,000. Our next cohort will be next year, and the price will increase.

Don't wait until then.

I saw a post by Mr. Kelvin Onovo about this, and I just had to add my voice because we've been using it too.

Last year, we installed MTN FibreX in our home, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions we made.

As a stay-at-home mum building my business from home, a reliable internet connection is a necessity.

From attending virtual meetings and teaching my Backyard Farming Bootcamp students to uploading content, I depend on good internet every single day.

Then there are my children.

These people can watch cartoons on the Smart TV for hours, so you can imagine the amount of data that would have disappeared if we were using regular mobile data. 😅

In fact, the only time I had to buy a large mobile data subscription recently was when I travelled to my hometown for my brother's burial.

Apart from that, I'm mostly at home.

The only times I really step out are for the market or supermarket, my place of worship, and evangelism.

The beautiful part is that you subscribe monthly, and it's unlimited.

No more worrying about who finished the data. 😂

If MTN FibreX is available in your area and your work or lifestyle depends on the internet, you may want to consider it.

For us, it has been worth every penny.

Omor... saying goodbye to constant data wahala feels really good.

Yesterday was one of those days.

I spent a good part of my day creating content and posting, only to later discover that none of the posts were showing on my page.

At first, I thought it was my network.

So I kept posting because I had a target number of posts I wanted to publish before the end of the day.

Then I realised it wasn't my network.

I tried switching from my personal profile to my page, but it wouldn't open.

I refreshed my page countless times, but nothing changed.

Honestly, I felt like all my efforts had gone to waste. 😩

The same thing happened again this morning, but after a while, my posts finally started appearing.

I don't know if it was a Facebook glitch or something from my end.

Did anyone else experience this recently, or was it just me?

On another note, today is the last day of July. 🙏

Despite everything that has happened this year, God's mercy has kept us.

There has been so much heartbreaking news, especially the loss of many young lives.

If you are reading this today, never take the gift of life for granted.

If you believe you'll see the first day of August and the remaining months of this year by God's grace.

Type "Thank You, Jesus" in the comment section.

Happy New Month in advance.

My love for Gospel music eeh.

Kai!

I start my day with it, and I end my day with it.

One thing I'm very intentional about is what I feed my mind.

I believe that whatever constantly enters your ears eventually finds its way into your heart.

That's one of the reasons I don't listen to secular music.

In fact, I don't think I can sing any secular song from beginning to end. 😄

I may hear one playing somewhere, but you'll never catch me searching for it or downloading it to my playlist.

It's simply not my thing.

For me, it's Gospel music or nothing.

The songs remind me of God's faithfulness, strengthen my spirit, and keep my heart focused on Him, especially on difficult days.

How was your night?

And while you're at it, tell me, what kind of music fills your playlist most of the time? 😊👇

Food is becoming more expensive, but your dependence on the market doesn't have to.

Imagine harvesting fresh ugu, tomatoes, pepper, okra, and other vegetables from your own backyard whenever you need them.

Farming is not as difficult as you think.

The problem is that most beginners don't know where to start.

That's why I created the Backyard Farming Bootcamp, a practical training that shows you, step by step, how to grow food successfully, even if you've never farmed before.

Inside the Bootcamp, you'll learn:

How to start with little space

How to design your backyard farm.

How to prepare your soil.

How to avoid common beginner mistakes

How to control pests and diseases.

How to harvest healthy vegetables with confidence

Every month you delay learning is another month you're paying full market prices for food you could be producing yourself.

We all have w**ds in our lives, distractions, excuses, fear, and doubt.

They don't need permission to grow.

But the life you truly want requires intentional daily choices.

What are you planting today?

One thing about me is that I love anything homemade.

If I can learn how to make it myself, I will.

I don't mind paying to acquire the skill if it means I can produce it with my own hands.

I have always been fascinated by creating things from scratch.

Maybe that's why, as a little girl, my dream was to become a medical doctor.

Life took a different turn, and I ended up studying Applied Biology and Biotechnology instead.

Looking back now, I can see that God still aligned me with a field that fuels my curiosity about life, health, and how things work.

I don't joke with anything health-related.

From the food my family eats to what goes into and onto our bodies, I pay close attention.

That is one of the reasons I grow my own vegetables.

It's also why I've started learning to formulate some of the products we use at home.

For me, it's not just about saving money.

It's about knowing the ingredients, understanding the process, and serving my family with confidence.

There is a different kind of joy that comes from saying,
"I made this with my own hands."

One thing, I know one thing for sure...

Learning is an investment that keeps paying for a lifetime.
