🐾 LUCKY DOG NEEDS VOLUNTEERS! 🐾
❤️ A little of your time makes a BIG difference in a dog's life!
November is here, and with seasonal travel and changing schedules, we're finding ourselves short of helping hands at Lucky Dog Rescue & Adoption.
Our dogs still need the same love, attention, and care every single day — and that's where YOU come in!
🐶 We especially need help on Tuesdays and Saturdays,(everyday really), although extra hands are always welcome throughout the week.
How can you help?
🐕 Walking dogs and giving them some much-needed attention
🧹 Helping clean kennels and keeping their living spaces comfortable
🥣 Preparing meals, feeding, and washing bowls
🧺 Helping with laundry and other everyday shelter tasks
Can't commit every week? That's okay!
We're also looking for:
✅ Seasonal volunteers who spend part of the year at Lakeside
✅ Short-term volunteers who can help for a few weeks or a month
✅ Substitute volunteers who can fill in when our regular team members are away
✅ New volunteers who would like to try a shift and see what we're all about!
You don't need previous shelter experience. Just a willingness to pitch in, work as part of a team, and care about dogs.
Whether you're a longtime Lakeside resident, a returning snowbird, or new to the community, we'd love to welcome you!
🐾 Our dogs don't know what day of the week it is. They just know someone needs to show up for them.
💌 Interested? Send us a Facebook message or email us at [email protected] and our Volunteer Coordinator will help you get started.
