🐾💔NOT AN EASY DAY
Another day filled with emotion.
😔Today, we were called to help a severely injured cat, most likely attacked by a dog.
🐈Like many cats, he had hidden himself away, suffering in silence, far from the eyes of the family who loved him.
🐕We also cared for a 17-year-old dog facing serious health issues.
A severe infection caused by prolonged constipation had led to an open wound infested with maggots.
The pain had become so overwhelming that he had become aggressive, not out of anger, but out of suffering, making it increasingly difficult for his family to care for him.
☎️In both cases, their families found the courage to call us.
After exploring every possible option, we were able to ease their pain and give them a peaceful, dignified farewell surrounded by LOVE.
💔 Veterinary medicine is not always an easy profession.
But it is moments like these that remind us why we do it: to be there when our beloved companions need us most, to relieve their suffering when we can, and to help them leave this world with comfort, dignity, and love when the time comes.
🌈 Because no animal should suffer alone.
Of course we can’t be anywhere anytime 😔
❤️ Run free, little angels. Until we meet again. 🐾✨
God bless you,
Om Lombard
