🎯 At Haras du Morne, sometimes a little waiting time is needed… and that’s completely normal.

Our horses are former racehorses, and their well-being always comes first. Sometimes they need a little extra time to rest, eat, receive care or simply enjoy being horses.

So while waiting, why not enjoy a game of pétanque with us? 😊

With the breathtaking view of Le Morne Mountain, a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of smiles, the experience starts long before you get in the saddle.

From Lickerio… to Phoenix 🐎🔥

During a race, he shattered his fetlock. We don’t even know how — but everything could have ended that day.

He arrived at Haras du Morne barely able to walk.

Months later, after care, patience and a lot of love… he can run again.

We’re still taking things slowly — he’s not ready for riders yet — but every step forward is already a victory.

We chose to believe in him.
And today… he’s proving us right. ✨

Every horse is followed with daily care, proper nutrition and regular veterinary check-ups. We take the time to understand each of their personalities, needs and limits.

Their workload is carefully adapted, with rest, freedom time and constant attention to their physical and mental health. Because a happy horse is a horse that feels safe, respected and understood.

More than a priority — it’s our responsibility. ✨
