Another day, another case of rehoming. 💔

Diamond is a lovely young female, approximately 2 years old and neutered. Unfortunately we know very little about her except that her owners would like us to take her by TODAY. If anyone is available to foster Diamond for us to properly assess her character, this would help us find her the perfect home.

⚠️⚠️ URGENT PLEA FOR HELP⚠️⚠️

This is the face of abandonment 💔💔
PEACHIE was surrendered by her owner this week after being in a home for 5 years. Her only fault is because she was too shy. The owner decided to leave her behind when moving houses and only take along her friend, who was friendlier than her.

PEACHIE is confused and can not understand why she is back in a cage after so long. She is frightened and refusing any food. This video was taken on her first day last Tuesday, and since then, she would only accept to eat a small treat 💔

We are sharing PEACHIE's story to try and find her a home or a foster home as she will die of a broken heart if she remains where she is.

A quiet home environment without small kids, and possibly with another friendly cat for company, would be ideal, as this is what she is used to.
Peachie not only lost her home, but she also lost her feline companion and will not survive unless we put her back in a home environment.

Please help by sharing and consider fostering or adopting Peachie.

While her sister Luna is up to mischief looking for that secret stash of tuna hidden somewhere in the house 😂

Recently, CLAWS took on a rehoming case involving four cats in urgent need of placement. We’re thrilled that two have already found loving forever homes, and one, our sweet boy Mixu, is now in foster care. 💛

Like many rescue cases, Mixu came to us with no medical history. While we always advocate for responsible pet ownership, the burden of care often falls on us when it’s lacking. Mixu is a gentle, affectionate 4-year-old who wants nothing more than cuddles and love from his humans.

With just 24 hours left to find him a safe space, Andrew ands Luana from Lulu’s Cat Lounge kindly stepped up and took him in. Unfortunately, they soon noticed blood in his ge***al area. It turns out Mixu has an infection and is now undergoing further tests to determine the full extent of his health issues before he can safely join the other cats.

We urgently need your help to cover Mixu’s vet bills. Your donation gives cats like him a chance at a healthy, happy life. 🙏

📣📣 MORNING SHIFTS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - WEEKDAYS 📣📣

We are urgently looking for 3 or 4 dedicated individuals who love cats and can spare a few hours during weekdays (mornings). Ideally, who can commit to a day at least once or twice a week.

Duties will involve basic cleaning of cages and litters, bedding and other similar duties as required.

The shelter is currently busier than usual due to it being kitten season hence any help possible would be greatly appreciated.

Urgent home or foster home needed for Mixu❗❗

Mixu is a sweet 4 year old cat, used to other cats, dogs, and has also grown up around children. He is neutered, and has a visual impairment in one eye, but leads a perfectly normal life.

Unfortunately Mixu and his fur-friends were given up by their owner, with 3 of them finding homes and Mixu being left alone, currently being kept in a temporary home, which can only keep them until tomorrow!!

We are looking for someone to open their heart and home to Mixu, even temporarily. If you can be Mixu's guardian angel, please get in touch as soon as possible 🆘

On this sunny Sunday we're introducing you to our darling Mira.

Mira is a sweet 8 week old kitten looking for the perfect home. Her sibling has been adopted and she is lonely looking for companionship. As she is friendly and crying for her siblings we would love her to find a home with another cat for company.

If you think you can offer Mira the perfect forever home, get in touch via Messenger. An interview will follow and an adoption agreement for ownership, agreeing to neutering at the appropriate age.

⛔️⛔️⚠️⚠️HELP FOR FLUFFY⚠️⚠️⛔️⛔️

Fluffy has suffered a bad fracture in his front leg, which required specialised orthopaedic surgery.
He needed pins to be placed so that the fractured part stays put until it heals back in place. Fluffy was taken in for surgery and required 7 weeks of cage rest until the pins could be removed and although now it is not entirely back to normal, he can still move around and make use of it.

Cost for the entire procedure including surgery, x-rays and follow up visits amounted to EUR 800 approx., This is a big sum of money for us but we could not give Fluffy a fighting chance to try and save his leg..
