Throwback to my memorial portrait of Jack

Good evening! My portrait of Jinx is finally complete — from the first sketch to the finished piece, after many layers and hours of work.

As you probably know by now, I really enjoy drawing cats, and Jinx, with his beautiful tabby markings, was an absolute pleasure to draw. Despite the portrait’s small size, he certainly kept me busy and required a great deal of time and attention! 🙂

Jinx is the second portrait I’ve had the pleasure of creating for this client, which is always a wonderful compliment.

In anticipation of tomorrow’s portrait reveal (featuring a beautiful tabby cat!), I thought I’d share some of my most recent cat portraits.

When I started my page in 2023, cat portraits weren’t requested very often, but lately they’ve been growing in popularity—and I couldn’t be happier about it! I love drawing their beautiful markings and unique expressions, and as the proud owner of two gorgeous kitties myself, I’ve always had a soft spot for these wonderful creatures. ❤️
