Spot-billed Pelican (Pelecanus philippensis),

a near-threatened species that is regularly seen around wetlands in Sri Lanka. It can be recognized by its long pale bill, large throat pouch, and greyish-white plumage.

Nature never fails to amaze us! Today we were lucky to capture the graceful Spot-billed Pelican gliding peacefully across the water at Thuduwa Camp.
